Yes. This is generally possible. A percentage value can be set instead of a fixed one. I just had a test where the Novice Exploration gave me +50% movement, which gave my elf 33 points instead of normal 22.

However in case of Offense/Defense it would still be a percentage of the stats, not of dealt/received damage. So if a hero has 4 Attack and a skill that would give 10% more attack then that would equal to 0.4 attack point, which would probably be rounded to 0 - and thus the skill would be useless at low values. So only after the hero got over 15 Attack (or - worst case - 20), the "10%" would give more than "+1".

I haven't played many skirmish maps, but I can take a look, but it's probably possible in some way - unless those heroes exist only in campaign map packages.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any extra animations - especially no movement. Just the healing animation (that is repeated as the attack animation), getting hit, dying and idle.


oh damn (: well, maybe u can still consider her in the next uptade of the mod as alternative for the crossbow shooters, she could still fly as last Resort? u have to consider she is Kind of a holy woman haha

maybe, she could get spells like heal and sunburst which can be activated once or more often, i mean if u can do this and would be interested to bring her back

and there are indeed some hereos that are only accesiable in skirmish maps, These are somehow linked to the maps and it would be cool if they could be used in General, same for campaign hereos, but that is a totally different Topic i think

hmmm indeed... it's a shame;/ so you can't make offense/defense be about the damage creatures receive/do?
whenever you are finished with the line ups you should look into exploration at least if it isn't too much hustle. a percentage would be perfect!

Though you can make basic defence offence be 20%, 25% and 30% thus ending up in 75% in the end. Thus, this skill will really help after some levels and nit so much in early game. It wouldnt be that bad this way.

Also, i will also bug test the game from thursday when i get back home.

No. I can modify hero's damage, but not directly his creatures. Or at least I don't know how.

As for testing - then get to it . Play a few maps, check new building functions, check if the descriptions are OK and give what they suppose, check if new creatures have proper animations (at the last second I saw that Faceless didn't display their "dying" animation, but they do now), check if succubi and shadow panthers' skill work fine... and so on .

If there's a major bug found, I will be able to deploy a new version. If the bug is minor, it will wait until the next version.

[update]
the mod looks great and it works!! a few remarks
i came across an army of neutral faceless. highlighted the creature and it said "neutral rmy" instead of their names i don't know if this is intentional.
and as for the growth dwelling, i don't know if you are allowed to split its screen too . and the description wasn't like the others' dwellings.


in case u missed it, will continue on

Playing with sinithala(+dryad growth) but chose kappas. Also i could move my kappas to the same tile where dryads existed!!!

I think this is the case for all neutral stacks - it always says "neutral army", no matter the creature type or their alignment, does it not?

I don't think I fully understand. Could you precise what's the problem? as in "what is now" and "what should be"?

Well, that's nothing new, I think. If you want a hero that specializes in a creature, you should first get that creature's dwelling .

I'm working in a testing department for a living and one thing I've learned is that you have to be descriptive in your bugs . Describe exactly what you're seeing as well as what you were expecting. Indicate which steps are needed to reproduce the bugs. As you might guess, the bugs that you don't know how to reproduce are the nastiest ones to fix.

Acid, Kappas are called "Kappa Shoya" on both, the Standard unit and the upgraded one in the heropedia, just something i've noticed
i think the base Unit's Name is just "Kappa" isnt it?

As for the faceless,every strong elite has a growth boosting building. The growth boosting icon for the faceless/minotaur is split in two like the growth building of the medusa/strider. But instead of a creature occupying a part of the icon(like medusa/strider growth icon) we see the left part with the avatar of minotaur/faceless, and the right part empty(untill you build it and you ll see only the creature u chose.

They should be called "Kappa". Are you playing an English language version of the game? If not - that's probably the problem.

Please try to reproduce the bug and tell me what should I do to reproduce it on my side. Does it happen always with Kappas and Dryads?

Now I understand. This is not the same.
When you have Medusa/Strider then those are two alternative buildings - you can build one or the other.
When you have the Faceless/Minotaur then that is a single building. It will boost whatever creature dwelling is present. As a single building it occupies one icon space and I cannot extend the icon to occupy two spaces.

In short - it works like it is suppose to. It's a single building to boost 2 creature types, not 2 separate buildings.
