Yes, it is possible, but I doubt it's worth that much work for h7 while it's in the current state.

Yes, it is possible to modify town on adventure maps. We may modify it, but first let's take care of the creatures.

I kinda wanted to put centaurs in Sylvan. For now the dungeon is quite full and I already got beholder as a core shooter. Not sure, but nothing is set in stone.

Well, I suppose I can make a dragon golem for Academy, but which creature should it replace? Or maybe we can add more creatures per dwelling and break the 8 limit? That may be possible, but it's quite a lot of work and idk if it's worth it.

Well, the problem is that Dungeon is already full. For Stronghold I guess we can give them thunderbirds, then shift some tiers and it would be fine. Maybe if I manage to give more creatures per town (still not sure if that's realizable)

This is gonna be tricky because the goblin model would require new animations since it's currently a rider. I can't promise a goblin, but I can promise to try.

The thunderbird is currently in the making Ogre magi are doable, but I'm not a big fan of the dreamwalkers solely because of that giant arm. And as I said before in this thread, berserkers are an option that I'm considering.

I originally was thinking about transforming swordmaster into h1-h2 crusader/paladin. I admit that a Cavalier would look better as champion tier, but shifting Swordmaster into an elite would give haven 2 units that are pretty similar in the same tier, just with a gender swap. Perhaps I can give them or justicars another weapon.

The sister can be transformed pretty easily into the h4 female cleric and the ballista is a ballista is any game, I don't think it needs to be changed. Also I'd prefer making the sea elf pirate more corsair-like than making a squire, they need a pirate hat

Well, I'd keep the griffin in dungeon, so maybe some hypogriffs for sylvan? I just need to reskin them, give them some hooves and some antlers, it's not that hard.

Yeah, only that the unicors got some missing animations since they are mounts. It was easier to make lurkers creatures from war machine because they already had attack animations, the turn animations are simple to make and they are floating, so just use idle animation instead of walking.

That's a good idea, we get rid of the deers and strategy wise, the sylvan has now one defensive walker and one offensive flyer as champion choices.

Why not get in touch with aciddragon to allow alternative units all around?

I mean he did it in his mod. So in the end each faction can have 14 units

I'd replace the dragon golem with rakasha honestly.

They're one of the coolest looking units in the game without doubt but we already get the sweep ability in haven and stronghold and we get a no retaliation strong elite in dungeon.

Ability idea: give it a small stat boost or damage boost for a round if the hero casts a spell, higher tier spells give a larger boost


But idk what unit would have a good enough animation but if a h1-2 troll could get made for stronghold...

About the h1-2 paladin idea, I really like it but I disagree with the cavalier being pushed to a champion tier. If anything I think they should be pushed back and become a normal elite. If and only if the old paladin makes a return, because then justicars would be an overkill. I always liked the h1-2 cavaliers because they were weaker but you got more of them.

A replacement strong elite would be needed, maybe some kind of griffin knight or something

it's because it's the model of the crusher. i don't like it at all but the work on re-texturing is extremely good, so congrats on that.

Well, no one said that it had to be done at once. It could be made gradualy and with no time limit. Craft at your leasure

I mean, you are going into the trouble of making the units. Acid Dragon goes into the trouble of making units and implementing them as alternatives to the lineups. I am sure you can find a middle ground and work a bit together if you want to. Ultimately though, it is up to you and i am more than happy to see guys like you with the appropriate knowledge try to mod more content into the game

So, in the end, i can't complain.

And please don't attempt to have a person sitting on the Dragon Golem. That really destroyed the unit in H4 because it felt more like a machine than a Golem.

well, dragon golem is certainly better looking than the Earth Dragon, that's for sure. And i agree it needs some more tinkering with. The base model is nice, the scales on the front look odd though and the whole structure looks more like a submarine or a tank of sorts than that a functioning golem. But this might be one of the best units you designed so far.

I like it Looking like a steampunk dragon to me, maybe some smoke stacks somewhere on it would be cool? The Valve on the back is neat and I like the steel plate looking body.

There isnt one but in H7 they have this antelope look to them, a lot smaller than in h6 and h5 and they hardly fill the large unit tile. I also think their ability would be more beneficial as a small unit.

golems are like high tech machines, they can do their task themselves, without someone controlling their parts.

h4 dragon was a machine, and lizards one looks like a golem... well, unless someone is controlling it inside like a fantastic version of tank.
