So, I was working on the Town, tried to create and arrange the buildings and to see if everything is working.
That's what I did so far, there's still couple buildings missing, working on it.

I would like to hear your opinion and what to do next, do I need to take every building and start animating? is there certain sizes to the buildings, the background and so on... any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Make one single creature and put it into game (easiest in VCMI)> We've seen enough dead town screens.

PS Town screen must be 800x374 pixels, not 800x450 (altrough I hope VCMI will support custom TS resolutions).

Hota is not meant to be modded, you should use either ERA or VCMI. Keep it up!

Yeah, I wasn't sure about what size it sould be, will fix it, thanks.

And not yet sure about the colors of the buildings, or if I need to add something else to the building or just keep it like that.
BTW, Do I need to save each building separately and the background separately? or how does it work? is there other sizes I need to know except the BG size? or what format of the picture.
I'll try to install it on VCMI when I finish it and add all 16 buildings and update here

And thanks a lot to all for the feedback.

Buildings are in def format. Defmaker is for all defs.
Extract orignal def and see how it is. And make similiar.

If you make town for Vcmi, you can you 32bit png files with transparency. You than need to use json files instead of defs ( old 2bit format for hmm3)
