Gem and Titan's Winter
Does Gem start with Summon Boat in all Heroes III official versions?
If so, I've found a "bug" in Titan's Winter.
If Orange (dungeon) or Purple (castle) hire Gem and she gets expert Water Magic she can summon a boat from thin air and this seriously compromises the base idea of the map.
Yet, I've played the map dozens of times and never happened in my watch. Did it happened to you? Am I missing something?

As far as I know, she starts with Summon Boat, if nothing was edited.

Couldn't be, RoE didn't allow to edit the hero, if you wanted an hero not to be available you had to put him in a prison and there are no prisons in the map.

Happened to me as well! and not just at Titan's winter, also other maps where they should not be supposed to get a ship at all.

Such things happen often, mapmakers don't always think at possible loopholes. Like Kingslayer and his map "The Lost Humanity" where you are supposed to never have any resource beside gold but he forgot to uncheck the resource heroes so he was like wtf when I finished his map in 3 months instead of 18, after using the save/reload on first day to get them all.

The reason I made the thread was because I kind of agree with your remark about being selfish when not reporting the errors and loopholes one finds, even if I believe your criteria are regeed in favor of story driven, close maps.

This very good map is for tower, dungeon and castle. Theres no Gem city...
|

Yeah, they made a mistake they weren't perfect idiots. What I mean is: Gem is available and in Dungeon or Castle's hands would allow an invasion.

With Invite Hero you can easy prevent AI to get Gem and getting Summon Boat.
