Hamachi woes
Hi, so I've got heroes 3 complete (+hota) and tried getting to play it with some friends. Initially, I thought Gameranger was the method of choice, but it was so unreliable we ended up uninstalling it (sometimes it'd work, sometimes it wouldn't, seemingly random - and it annoyed the snow out of us).
Then we switched to hamachi trying to find a consistent solution. Two of my friends were able to make things work immediately - they could both join and host games, while I could SEE their games, I couldn't join them though - heroes reported that I couldn't join the game and I should try again with no further explanation.
I assumed it was something firewall related, so I turned off windows firewall completely, disabled avast shields but the problem persisted. Can anyone help?
