Well, I can understand that this isn't a "faces of death" kinda topic . So yeah, stupid actions alright, when the resulting harm (though not death, as per the letter of the Darwin Award concept) is self-inflicted. Most of the examples in previous posts and pages fall in that category. The last few however, don't (unless you take Artu's explanation of the girl taking the risk to get kicked in the face for her stupidity to participate).

hey, i've got a ninja-biker gif, too. not sure it fits here, tho. these guys are top of the pecking order; not darwin material.
i can't post my own darwin stuff, because people actually die. it'd end up being more of a gore/rekt thread.

I have a question, do we stick to funny and lighthearted stuff or can we post pics / gifs / videos where people get seriously injured or even die? I'm not sure how that scope aligns with the forum policy, but it just means we can't have a true darwin awards thread, not without a filter.
For example, what do people think of this? Is it okay because we can't see the outcome? That guy might be dead for all we know.

That's why there is equipment for doing that sort of job, like belts to hold you attached to the tree. Not using it makes him susceptible to Darwinism. Either way, negligence did its job.
Not sure of what to feel regarding his fall, which was sinister. If I fall like that right now, he won't know the outcome either. That's a draw.
