The way the Island players were throwing themselves at the slightest contact made it feel almost as if we were already playing against Portugal.

That penalty... hope Iceland chokes on their effing gift point. Anti-football at its finest, with a referee obviously rooting for them.
Unless I'm mistaken, we're through, there's bound to be 2 third place teams who finish with a worse goal difference.
Now, if only Austria would beat Portugal...

They played a simplistic, brutal game and can pay for the ref's beers this month for that unfair penalty. They didn't deserve a tie.

Ronaldo missing everything, from free kicks to pens, he seems to lack...confidence? Good thing he actually scored the CL final penalty...Flo plz sell him while you can
Portugal were poor, but they still created a lot of chances. Austria on the other hand was downright awful, like Sweden awful.

HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA we're actually leading the group going into the final match After 2 rather poor showings from Portugal (seriously, how many freaking chances CAN they miss?) a tie seems if not probable then definitely possible - given that they don't get like 3 penalties lol. Even if Portugal beats us, Iceland would have to win by two goals or more to bump us into third place... and third place with 4 points and a positive goal difference might just bump us into the round of 16, which we'll tackle with the imperturbable calm of those with nothing to lose. 4 days till PARTAY TIME
PS: Storck is now officially the best coach we've had in 48 years. I'm not kidding either, statistics say so.

I think Ronaldo's behavior single-handedly makes everybody enjoy watching Portugal get short-changed. Kind of makes you feel bad for the rest of the team. That has been a weird bracket so far.

That was boring. Aside from the first twenty minutes and a couple of attempts on the 2nd half, there wasn't too much action between both teams. Here hoping for a more exciting game tomorrow from England...

Meh, probably because of drugs. They'll find them in a few years and retroactively disqualify us, not that we'll go further than the round of 16 anyway. Most probable opponents are atm Spain or Germany, that will HURT.

Next you just need Northern Ireland to crush Germany and you've got almost full representation from UK Chances are the next team Wales is up against will be the same or less difficulty than Russia. Probably Czech, Turkey, or Poland. They have a comfortable chance of making it to the Round of 8 being in the top of the group. They have Slovakia's defense to thank. Next game England shouldn't play musical chairs with its players.

Ukraine 0 - Poland 0
Germany 4 - Northern Ireland 0
