Original H7 - LAN with friends.

Hello. I'm going to buy original heroes 7 and i was wondering - will i be able to play with friends like i used to in previous versions? I mean playing LAN games on different PCs (hot seat is cool, but it takes too much time to finish a game). Or will LAN games be able only on pirate versions? I've never played H7 yet, so please dont get mad if i asked about something obvious . Thanks for the answers!

EDIT: Also, if LAN is possible, are simultaneous turns too?

Multiplayer does not work properly, there are frequent crashes and desyncs. Stay away from Heroes 7 with all your might you fool.

Thanks for reply! But besides bugs and crashes, is it technicaly possible to play LAN games? I've heard that MM7 is connected to some gaming platform on which u need to have an account. Is it true and does it make LAN games unavaible?

Yes, technically it should be possible and hopefully it will work better after the next update, released on August 4th.

Simultaneous turns are also available but not in the way you might imagine it, you have to wait until your opponents return from combats.

However, some changes/improvements fro simultaneous turns have been announced.

Speaking about platform, you have to create your account on Uplay but don't worry, it is not a problem

And it definitely does not make LAN unavailable.

And will it be possible to play LAN with just one copy of the game? Or do each of us has to have his own copy?

I guess you both have to own the game. It should be the same as playing with random multiplayer opponents.

For a lan on several computers you need several version of the game. To play in hotseat mode (which works much better) you only need one game for up to 8 players.
