But sheep and goats also need to be hydrated, fed and leave a lot of dung behind. So lawnmower is a much more practical thing.

hiring user of mower for the whole day is more expensive than hiring those who collect dry dung left by these animals at the end of the day and give them water if they cannot drink by themselves...
usage of mower is expensive too(fuel, cutting strings, service)...

I doubt that. You also got to take care of those animals and it is quite costly to pay the vet when one of them gets sick. And then there are the rules to have a proper barn.

Besides, there can be some plants that not every animal wants to eat and yet must be cut and weeded out. Like ambrosia.

I heard that goats can eat even broom made of birch twigs... if goats don't eat them...we can use sickle volunteers...
