Age of Heroes' News Web Page

It has been 3 whole months since Storm-Giant has posted a news article on the AoH page. Date: April 27th 2016.

Are the news-casters no longer in responsibility of officializing the major events or, because of a strong lack of attendance on Heroes Community's web pages has anything to do with this very long absentism?

Does any Moderators, here, ever noticed any of the sort?

Just asking. And, opened a topic thread as to let a lot of members that are, still, roaming this forum web-site, the chance at expressing their various opinions and feelings. Could run for quite a few pages or so.

Come to think of it, I haven't seem Storm Giant in a while.

Regardless, I think it is a bit obvious that there were no (notable) news. The only ones I can think of were the ones about two weeks ago.

There's virtually no news. UbiSoft has kept things under the blanket tighter than an oister guarding a precious pearl.

And yes, haven't seen Stormy around in a while either.

Sorry I was absent for a while, I've just posted an update with the not-so smooth release of Ubisot's Trial. Ok?

However, I can't hide my utter disappointment and decreasing interest on the news related to H7, so don't expect frequent updates about them in the near future. It can't be helped

Hey Storm nice to see ya, maybe you could mention our ASHAN TO THE TRASHCAN Mod? (When I say "our" I mostly say Liz who did more for the game than the whole Ubilimbic team together ), there was even a stream, Sandro vs Erwin!

I will most likely make a M&M MOD roundup...sometime soon? It kind of feels forever since I last wrote about anything non-H7 in AoH...now there's H4 HD, Traschan, H5.5 updates...can't think of anything more right now.

Worries for later

H4 HD? When did this ever happened?

Maybe Dalai took on my dare and worked on H4-WoW v.3.0.

To get the ex-fans of Heroes 4 back here could be an excellent idea.

Re-promoting Equilibris and making Dalai`s team back at working on it, would be a wonderful idea.

Making a major modification called Heroes 4.5 would not be much of a bad idea. Since, Heroes 5.5 did catch on quickly enough for all die-hard fans of the heroes series and, totally disappointed in both Heroes 6 & 7.

Personally, I find it weird that, no one is interested in large bodies of water on any map ever since Heroes 6. That makes the maps so utterly way too large for nothing. Do not tell me that the water tiles are the reasons where are not enough space on the land tiles for many adventure objects and dwellings alike. That reason, alone, is absolute BS.

Oh Stormy!

As from August 6th to now, 13 days later, something quite interesting happens.

Patch 2.1-40271 is now, currently available for download and auto-install. Absolutely no official news, anywhere, about it. A huge patch of about 3.65+ GB of a file.

Ahead in the news, A new demo of a newest RTS game that was to be announced at gamescom is, currently, available for download and auto-install. A large 7.x GB in size for a mere Demo is signalling one thing: No wimpy and way too old PC can possibly run such a game without running out of RAM within the 5 to 15 minutes in the course of the game.

For Honor will, still, be mentioned as the major, next step, in the evolution of PC strategy gaming.

Just open up your Uplay game client to find even more stuff that concerns your randomized medley of choices of gaming tastes.

Dragon Ball Z?! That has nothing to do with this Forum thread!

I did not bother watch any of this futuristic BS of a non-sense of a cartoon.

Humans are humans. Plenty of them are barely hanging on to this Might and Magic Heroes Series of ours, in case you're not aware of all that very common news.

Say...Storm-Giant...How old are you? again? Am I 3 times your age?

Darn early Teenagers of today! Always following some saying coming from a stupid cartoon!

Lol what? Drop the acid man, your embarassing yourself.

Dragonball Z is an anime that some of the forum users here probably watched when they were young, so now most of them are probably in their 30s. That of course doesn't mean that you can't have nostalgia and refer to things you've enjoyed in your younger days, heck why do most of us put Heroes III so high, putting aside that it's simply a good game?

And for your information that's not actually dialogue from the anime itself, but some kind of fan-made clip (yeah 'kids cartoon' using words like s*rew you, of course, that makes sense!).

I don't even know if you're trolling or have some serious issues with communicating...

@Verriker: Fiver?! What the hell are you babbling about?!

I do not even know you pal!

Got the wrong guy that is for sure!

That is not funny one tiny bit.

You might owe me a couple of hundreds of dollars for my hard core services, here, mister.

WTF?! I was deep in my twenties in the mid-90's and, in my early thirties as of the start of the millenium + the 21st century also.

I even sold away my old 1993 computer because I got tired of the bad games compared to all the awesome games that were available in the arcade public rooms all over the city.

Came back to such high tech based PC for two very good reasons:1. Arcade rooms ceased to exist in Ottawa, Canada as of Fall of 2001. 2. Started to remember Might and Magic Heroes' games and many more 4X kind of games I used to really like in the late 1990s.

I still bought back Master of Orion 1 & 2 and, have to tell ya, MOO 2 is so much better than Heroes 3 and 4 when it comes to both graphics and gameplay, that it is not funny, at all, man. Dos game on top of that, phew! New World Computing did not work that hard at making these games. No way Jose on the effort scale.

Even bought Ultra Street-Fighter IV for the PC for crying out loud! A few more side scrolling arcade games dating back the mid-80s and a very cheap version of RISK that is so much fun and takes no time at all to play the whole darn thing.

Own two seasons worth of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and one whole season of the ThunderCats(1970s cartoons that are way more enjoyable than that of those that came out since the mid 90s).

You should see the size of my collection of movies on DVDs, man. It is absolutely humongous. Must be close to a thousand titles, easy.
