He was more a leader of the group, not really a developer, but yes, he disappeared quite a while ago.
Max_HMMI is the only developer "working" on the HD mod.
I'm still around and have been back to working on the H4 Resource Editor and H4 Advanced Options Map Editor.

If anyone knows how to contact verokster, please let me know. Karmakeld created some HD resolution townscreens that we would like to pass on to verokster to see if they can get them inserted with this mod.
Would be nice to have more than the adventure map in HD

Wonderfull!!! I wait it for years! :0)))) Especially 600/800 resolution in game is very bad. Map viev is small but interface big.
Maybe more of 40% screen is interface!
Now its correctly proportion! I play only this resolution since start of playing h4.
Dragons are missed too. Will be good to ad.

This is nice, no doubt! Maybe I will download it later... it's been years since I played Heroes IV, but, you know, it really did not click for me, but I wish it did... It has a lot of merits (and a plethora of bad stuff too...). Mixed feelings...

Finally, the GL wrapper already made the game play a lot smoother to navigate and this improves on that.
A moderator should probably edit the OP to add a link to the HD mod or make a new thread on the topic.

There is a visual glitch that appears of the left side of the "town screen" (I will add a picture for you to see). It appears as if the yellow window frame is of larger size than the actual image of the town screen, so the background underneath shines through. I am unsure if this happens on more windows, like the battle screen.
I hope you are still fixing bugs so that this bug can be fixed.
Amazing mod btw. It took this many years for someone to do this, we can finally play this game on a modern pc... Great work.

If someone could please relay this to that guy at his blog. Since I dont own or want to own a google account. It would be good if he fixes this visual bug before he goes into a hibernation like most modders do after a while of release.

To be able to set your wanted resolution press F4 and follow below steps:
Mods --> Resolution Mod --> Aspect Ratio --> choose ratio (4x3; 16x10; 16x9).

Change to windowed mode, you can change to fullscreen mode later. The option should still be there.
Anyways after many years a got a full hd 1920x1080 monitur
(Just because the other stopped working, lol)

I know but looks like me exe dont see this mod. I have windowed mode and only one option on the bar file. Nothing else. But its Wine so it may be problem with this emulator. So only option is manually add something to registry. Maybe it help?!

If you are using the correct HD mod, there should be a config.ini file inside your Heroes IV installation directory. This is a plaintext file with all the options, which can be edited by hand (if you don't do anything wrong IE put unsopported values).
