damn I just wish they'd release the remaining objects they teased those years ago, eg the Stonehenge and Easter Island and stuff, those all look like awesome tools to build a cool atmosphere lol


I also discovered this recently,and also saw those stonehenge monolits and also monolits from that Easter Islands,I miss only second might tavern,that looks like woodmill, first has a big skull on the top...

in 355 there is no easter island stuff, at least not under "equilibris" objects... and yes I am integrating all the 355 objects into my latest release, which should be up just a few hours from now.

Also, they include 3.51 objects which for some reasons werent put on 355 editor even, as well as another set of walls they didn't include (maybe because unfinished)

The only catches are:
- 355 artifacts don't work (but normal Equilibris do)
- All 355 treasures just work as Pirate Islands (something to do with .exe editing or adventure catalogs I guess.

For some reason I cannot put them on my map editor, but I include an "all equilibris objects map" for copy and paste. Further versions will probably include brushes.

If people from Equilibris ask me they will be taken off, but they are credited as theirs and on a separate, optional .h4r (not included in my own resource package)

You don't need to do that at all! There is four schools of non-magic skills, so you can just use those four and just a single magic one. Plus, level 70 doesn't even max out skill advancement.
Each skill "tree" has 4x5 levels (4 subskills with four levels each), meaning twenty.
So if you "max out" just four skills, that's equivalent to level 80 (unreachable).
What I mean by this is that one can customize the hero as you want (even a magic-less hero), use custom skills and not automatic ones. (it is a shame they didn'tcreate a fifth nionmagic skill to "balance it out" five to five - however I can also see in the code they originally planned just four magic schools like Heroes III, so it may be that)

As for making powerful enemy heroes, you can give them a few Nightmares and Dark Knights (or other mini-heroes), which will cast Terror spell upon your heroes and creatures. Give the enemy two Ring of Speed or something like that, and he's guaranteed to star the combat. There are endless possibilities.

Nimo,you did great.I customized every creature at my wish with gainig an extra level,beginning with halfing with 100hp, dwarf 150hp, combat barbarian hero level 1 with 200hp, skeleton 200, troll 250, zombie 300, gargoyle 350, mummy should have 500, vampire 750, cyclop about 800, giant(titan) 1000, bear?(behemoth) 1500, black(dark champion)knight 1500, steel golem(gold golem) 2000,dragon(megadragon3000),genie(efreeti)
5000,
Now you get 150hp(hit points) with level 5 hero I think,then 190 level 10, 290 level 20, level 70 is 790hp+1 health ring gives about 1000hp,then for more you must add both rings and all health speels for reaching about 5000,which is hard though,but I see that there are differences between normal creatures and hero creatures when fighting head to head
I still vote for new artifacts,which give more health and "creature abilities like block or unsubstantial",but only if itīs possible,thank you in advance.

Nostradamus, maybe I will give the "Rig of Nostradamus" (no errata), a health ring that can be placed as an item so you can have four instead of two +200% health ... (which means *3)

Very interesting.

The walls on the first are included on 355 and thus on the new version my mod which will be released today 8yesterday if I didn't lose internet

I am trying some new technologies that I can't disclose because of collaboration with Equi members, but rest assured, the possibilities soon will be endless. There's the possibility that in not much time we will have near infinite map objects just as the people of Heroes 3, but with customizable brushes that no other Heroes game has.

Speaking of which, I am experimenting and did the first brush with some 3.55 objects, take a look:

I agree and apply and your test also looks good and promising.
I believe that with some time and testing you will discover new options that the game offers,I would like to help,but Iīm afraid I wouldnīt be much of use.

they are rather subtle; some bones and tree parts. I wanted to blend them seemlessly with the rest of the enviroment. but rest assured, they are all included, all the 355 objects are placeable and even the 351 and a few others not on the lists. Open the maps included under propermaps-^ equi and see for yourself (you need to open them with one of the included special editors). However I didnt want to ptomote this heavily on screenshots because they are not really my novelty :》 i just deviced the way of combining mods... and my mod has plenty of features in itself.

How to build 3.55 exe? Its only russian! You have eng version?

The Russian text is for the most part not in the .exe, it's actually in equi_text.h4r - My mod doesn't use it, and everything is in English (and whatever language your game is, for the parts I haven't modded)

I didn't use 3.55 exe, just resources, so there are no .355-related bugs either. The main exe is still based on 3.51 (with extensive modifications of my own, of course - in gameplay much larger than from default H4 to Equi 3.51)

So don't fear the RUssian, and don't fear the bugs, because neither are featured : P

I would like to know how to reach more Heroes 4 fans, does anyone know?

With the new advancements possibilities become near endless to mod, however, there's not much of an incentive without people to reach out to.

I know there's another forum, the "Heroes Round Table", and also some mapmaker's places. We should make a new thread compiling all websites Heroes-4 related to be able to contact them so they spread the news we are having.

There's not much motivation to invest a lot of work in a game almost nobody will play : P

Also, for the nonbelievers, I have made a test map called "Build the wall!", a satirical map... that nonetheless displays that 3.55 buildings are fully functional in my mod

As per request, the updated version has been uploaded, on the first page. Additionally, the update includes like 10 additional brushes, mostly based on 3.55 objects. Updated version still compatible with previous one, only the maps and brushes are new.



Try to find the Erwin monk as an easter egg : P

Can I request a mirrored upload of the deluxe edition?
My antivirus still goes beserk with the main link, but had no problems with the mirrored one.

Like Baronus, I'm curious to find out if you packed the new objects into the main mod file or if they can be added to 3.51 seperately, without all modding effects, but with a single Data file. Guess I'll find out once I get it downloaded.
