Wanted to ask some veterans here for couple tips.
1) Does mystic attack passive even works. I never seen those extra 20 % mana from attacks, or are those only from kills , and added as extra ball?
2) When tooltip say , attacks for reduced damage. Is it same reduced damage, if so what the point of mage attack over schoolar, as mage attack 1 + adjacent for reduced while scholar for whole row. Also scholar passive is just 5 % more.
3) is there any reason to not reroll healers for bards , as 2 % is laughable and crits doesn't happen that often, 2 % wouldn't be really worth if it would proc on every attack not to mention crit.
4) Combo points - when points are consumed and it says x4/8 how does that work, since most certainly it doesnt do x8 damage with ability. I would agree on x3 for ability but not 8.
5) Does anyone have rough ammount of xp needed for levelups. For example how much gems are needed for 6 star creature to get to lvl 60/75/90

1. An attack collects all remaining mana balls from a unit + all remaining of the creature's colour from the team. Mystic increases this amount by 20%. This means that if any given creature collects less than 5 mana balls, bard will collect more mana (Mystic is equal to bard on 5 balls).
2. No, it's not the same. Mage hits for 27.5% PWR main target + 13.75% PWR adjacent. Scholar hits for 15% PWR entire row. I do agree the description is unclear (probably not to lead beginner players into thinking the game is more difficult than it really is).
3. Healer might be interesting with insane luck, but your normal healer will not have much. I use bard for a long time and pretty happy with it.
4. Read Dulkan's explanation on damage calculation. x8 is a 150% increase (+100% more when attacking the vulnerable colour)

I took a two weeks break after the first few weeks of playing, but that was because I got pissed on the energy. Then I learned to time it better and got completely hooked ever since.

Similar for me, got into game but droped it for a month, as I was frustrated by bad drops, and game strained my eyes bit more than i liked. But got back in om march event, and now i have progressed alot, and pretty much hooked. Possibly will start playing less after team wont have much room to grow, but for now its very addictive.

Don't forget you can have only five party members at once and there is six different colors.
Then optimization can take a while, my main party has one four dots but lacks the x16 multiplier, on one hand it's good because I can swap one creature and still have all others working, but my dream party is all four dots with all x16 multipliers and that might take a while.
Until then I find a lot of variety using different parties, it also helps having fights less repetitive during farming and leads to explore more specials.

Currently my team is 4dot titan /3dot gold dragon / 3 dot sludge hulk / 4 dot occultist / 4 dot siren.
Generally there is room for improvement like replacing 1 of yellows(wish i had gotten angel as DOTter would compliment hulk), and could use new healer like druid, but all in all, the stronger you get the more diminishing returns kicks in , in terms of what you can upgrade. Still true that there is quite a bit to be played

Yes, but what I mean is there will always be at least one color you won't have the counter against, thus you can have at least two main parties with balanced counters. To that you can add strictly more counter specific ones using two or even three of the same kind (very helpful in Grand Wish quests), and since the rerolls are purely luck based, the ideal multipliers can take a while. The replayability seems endless, the amount of combinations is extraordinary large considering you have not only 500+ creatures with various specials in the game but also different amount of dots distributed.
Then sure, you can use exclusively one strong party with its flaws but boosted enough to wreck even stronger colors, but imo is more fun to get many for various situations, depending on what you face. Using more than one party is more fun to me, so that when you start to get bored of yours, you can quest for another.

Well whole/black counter colloring is bit sketchy unless i am missing something. Taking black team to white fight would more often than not end very quickly and not in my favor as enemy usualy is way more durable, so that leaves 4 other colors. Still I agree , build diversity is quite huge, and you can always imrpove that one step, same as every MMO out there , where you can wait for that 1 drop

I think the 4 base colors is really the foundation, then Light/Dark is tricky and has to be treated a bit differently since they are both strong and weak against each other.
