It's not an excellent alternative since its stats are so much worse than the forest giant.

It is however very good in it's own right and definitely affordable with the event.

Treant's low luck makes it unreliable to land silence to the worm (even the worm - it does not have stellar luck itself). I faced the worm many times in the last event and my treant only managed to silence 50-60% of times. If you do land silence, the worm is most likely dead (provided you can nuke).

His stats are still extremely good. Since they are same element I swapped my lvl 75 Forest Guardian with it a while back for the time I gathered enough gems and the replacement was excellent. Yes the lvl 90 Forest Guardian is better overall but the Treant is an excellent Epic, and in offense has been a perfect alternative for me for the time I used it, given a good party set-up.

EDIT>> Oops, I forgot that my silence has better success since I'm also running a Muse, which boosts +40% luck of whole party, this might explain the difference with Hayenne's experience. Ugh, I hope I didn't make you waste some resources as if you have no luck buff it might not turn out as good as for me.
It still should land enough if you full boost it with totems, maybe take time to compare good with the beetle, which would go best according to your set-up. Anyway no it wouldn't be wasted, it still is an awesome creature that will definitely have its use in many situations (counter specific quests, dungeon defense).

14k with 10% def-rate? How many packs did you spend?


I think I bought around 15 of those 5 packs of battle points---mostly whenever the special price of 10 rubies popped up.  I lost 20 defenses during my first two days.  Then I rolled the legendaries and people stopped challenging it in my bronze league once I put the red tyrannosaur and blue Stegasaurus As my final two bosses.  In the last 3 days of the season I probably only had 4 people challenge my dungeon in total.  Zero people attempted to fight my dungeon today since most of my league is newbies.


Its not really useful to do that at this point, 150 crystals might not be that much, but boosting to 14 k on low leagues overkill.



I thought last season might be my only real chance of getting one of the top 3 spots so I basically went for broke.  The number two guy ended with 13.5k prestige (one legendary) and the number 3 and little less ( no legendaries at all).  This week's bronze prize is the 3 dot blue hawk.  I already got that to drop from a dungeon so i am not planning to put extra effort into  the challenge.  

On a different topic:  Is the dark elemental or blue pirate in the current event dungeon any good for dungeon defense when leveled up?


Pirates are favorites for some people. I see them a lot,and if not careful they can delete some red creature. Elemental on other hand is pretty bad on defense, it hits for really low numbers. Light elemental (i presume next weeks event) hits way harder , and alot of people use them. Some guys in my guild mentioned they are nerfed in dungeon defense and i have similar feeling they dont delete my team as fast , but not sure - can someone comment on that. Drop rates on level lower than prince are really bad. EPics rarely drop on sub-prince difficulty, so unless you are lucky you shouldn't count on farming it.

On same topic - do devs ever tweak balance for creatures, as currently seem there is some really op ones (sandworm - not sure if its intended that it can stunlock party to almost death) while some other bosses are barely useful. Also seemingly there is some power creep already looming for added creatures.


Has LE been nerfed, I did notice my defense was 10% lower this week. I run the 13 creature dungeon only with LE as the backbone of my def.

BTW guys anyone knows that Yeti's special and stats? This will influence whether I will focus on ranking high or use my time for more questing, I seriously lack totems for my newest small creatures.

Here is level 10 yeti from chest. You can work out scale from it. Probably at last form his scaling is bit better



Edit : Cant manage to get 1st picture on decent size. Hope theese 2 are fine then

If it helps for accuracy, here is one at level 75.

(Note: has +5% attack from awakening, and 100 of each totem)

His special is also then 6 attacks for 50% power, 30% chance to debuff LUK and/or DEF by 30% for 3 turns.

Hmpf, crappy power reduces his value. Might be good on an anti-red wave, but seems to vulnerable. Probably needs lvl 90 to be really effective.

Small note about use of guild chat and forum
(Some of you are obviously not concerned but I think a reminder is necessary).

Both can have their advantages but I would like to assign to each of them distinct roles.

- Use the chat for mainly two reasons, information towards mercenaries so they get a chance to read the guild's rules, and teamwork during rush hours.
- Use the forum for any game-related discussion.

There is a few things that really bothers me with the in-game chat:

- You can't write long posts and any discussion there turns into a flood fest.
- Posts disappear rapidly so it is easy to miss what happened.
- No one but us can benefit from whatever discussion that is taking place, HC Kreegans is about sharing experience with the whole community, not just between us like greedy old farts.
- Typing there is just horrible.

The forum offers invaluable advantages and we have the chance to have some game developers lurking and I am sure any kind of feedback is valuable to them. I hope you can all understand and agree to keep the chat for the practical side described at the beginning of the post, and share thoughts more on forums so all can benefit.

Yeah he is crappy...

Could be useful fully awakened as then would have +40% crit chance vs. debuffed. This would mean that his last 3-4 'swipes' would be almost guaranteed to be critical hits (on average).

A 4 dot healer can eventually delay the death of your force units by a turn, within that turn strong units can eventually kill or crit a counter, at least unleash its ability. The Nymph does not heal as efficiently than a ie Muse or Tengu but unlike them she also hits while healing. I am tempted to say is good support depending on other creatures that you pair up with, but my defense rate is not very good so I may not be the best advisor here. Don't forget you can always test your own dungeon by beating yourself up and have a global idea of what can get improved.

Healers for most part are bad in defense,as they allow to feed mana for creatures. There is exceptions like if you have strong creature in w1 which can be kept alive for bit longer so he cripples team.

Its not bad creature but it cant function as sole healer, for one issue is that heal is random target.

Yes me too, but very rarely. Ok I exaggerated a bit, success is rather 95% of the time.
