It used to be fine, I don't think it's possible in gold any more. I'm having issues in Gold with a full legendary party now, can't wait for the combo sets because meta play changes and I have plans for a new party but I don't want to lose the working combos.

That is because you must be late with your Kingdom, on equal Kingdom levels a party with few Epics should still work out like before. Faster mana fill is also more encouraged now, that one turn late I am with my 3ds party is costing me losses lately, but that is against the top defenses.

Sadly had to say goodbye to Yasmiel and Diggfinger, as I doubt they'll come back after 40+ days without logging in... As well as Alina who didn't connect for 25 days... Well if you guys get back in game whenever just hit my HCM or write in this thread.

Alright, time to explain my woes.
As I've said many times the game crashes on me.
Unfortunately this situation arises not because of bugs in the game, but rather on its performance issues, as apparently it taxes the memory of devices.
On more modern devices this is not an issue (They can have 3D games after all), but on older phones like mine, that is a reason to crash.
Now, someone will be asking why am I not opening a ticket.
Two reasons, the first is that my phone uses a custom OS (Because the original was a dead weight by itself and I didn't want to change phone), secondly I know that the issue is not dependent on the game itself but rather, you guessed it, my phone, and unless JVC comes to fix my phone by themselves they can't do that much to it (Sometimes the system itself crashes because of a lack of memory for crying out loud).
Until now my phone could go on with some tricks, but now I'm afraid I'm facing a full stop as the various background apps get more and more demanding on my system.
I'll be changing my phone in the future at this point as I can't even listen to music sometimes, and so this is the only course of action left.
I'll try to make-do with an emulator though, but that means I can't play anymore outside the house...

Coal Blooded quest is not supposed to be active yet, developers are working towards turning it off with a quick fix coming soon.

Heard F2P diamond income was increased, does it actually help? I pretty much screwed up Kingdoms progression, and I still remember about a dozen different currencies, so I'm really, really cautious about maybe diving back in. That said, it's JVC, and our guild kicks ass.

Some F2P are doing better than me in the game, so game is definitely not P2W, even if there is some P2W features like Kingdom rushes, with a very strong party of 3 dots I can take on significantly higher kingdoms than mine. If you feel like diving back in Poly, just say the word and you're back in the guild.

Hey folks, I've recently returned to Creature Quest and would be interested in joining the Kreegans (I used to run an Erathian guild back when I played last year so it might be considered treasonous to join the Kreegans).
Since coming back, I'm feeling fairly weak compared to other players in the dungeon ranking I'm in and wondering if I can get any advice on what to do or aim for. Here's my set up:
Main Team:
4 Dot Light Elemental, no awakenings.
3 Dot Colossus, awakened to 1 red star.
4 Dot Angel, no awakenings.
3 Dot Treant, awakened to 1 red star.
2 Dot Troglo Witch Doctor, no awakenings.
I've also got a 3 Dot Chimera and Alchemist that are unused so far, but they don't seem overly great.

OK.
Keep the Colosseo and awaken it. Awaken the 4d Light Elemental when the event comes by.
Chimera is OK if you have no better for now. As a temporary great healer Siren remains the best though. And you can awaken it with its event.
Are you familiar with Kingdom?

Since you've left they have introduced kingdoms to the game. There you have different buildings that either generate some kind of resource, or give stat buffs to your creatures. Other players that have been playing while you were gone have been upgrading their kingdom buffs, hence why you might be feeling weaker now compared to before.
As for advice; In kingdom focus mainly on upgrading wood, ore and scrolls in the beginning. Wood and ore is the most used resources, and are used to upgrade almost all buildings and lv up castle. You will need scrolls to research/unlock higher lv cap on buildings. Then as you go, upgrade color shrines and creature keeps. The shrines buffs all stats except hp for that particular color. The keeps buffs hp to a particular creature size, one keep for each size.

I would consider farming the siren when that quest comes around. (Should be next week) Think a fully awoken 3d siren would be a good replacement for that 2d trog. Other then that, try get a stunner or two in your team. Silence is good, but stuns tends to be more reliable.
Here is also the cycle for farmable epics if you didn't know and want to awaken the Light Element and Treant.

That's really useful stuff already guys, thank you.
I'm familiar with Kingdom, have gotten my main castle up to level 6 now and managed to save up enough scrolls to buy the ability to put level 1 enchantments on Legendary creatures.
I'll make sure to save my stamina for next week and try to get a decent Siren I guess. The Ogre event this week doesn't seem great.
Is there a reliable way to get Legendaries? I see so many people talk of fully awakening their legendaries, but even when saving up 800 diamonds to buy a 10x chest I rarely get a legendary never mind anything decent. Can't imagine getting enough copies of one legendary to fully awaken it.

The only guaranteed way to get a legendary is winning it in a dungeon challenge. Diamond idols, color idols and finishing tower 51 all can give a legendary, but no guarantee. I would only use diamond multi summon if it is a summoning event with creatures you want.
Awaken legendary creatures can be a long and hard process, specially if you are a freemium player. I have only ever awoken one fully. Must of the time Greater essences will be the best way, getting copies is only a bonus.
I would recommend only awaken legendary creatures to the point where you can lv them up to lv 105 (3 red stars pluss 1 more). After that, the cost often isn't worth it if you have other Boss creatures yet to be awakened.
