She is only 1-dotter but still does most damage (apart from Phoenix burn DoT).
Treant is 2-dotter and I am fine with it... well the only 4-dotter in my collection is lvl1 blue mask  So I am looking forward to adding more dots... even for 1.000.000 of gold!
And you just persuaded me to give a try to Tengu... after my 50 tries in the Treant event I got 10 of them... all 2-dotters but they look like good healers (50% PWR mass heal + 4 random 50% PWR heals = 4 units will get 100% PWR heal).

Max it out for dungeon defense, try to get doubles with blue quests or battles 
More dots in dungeon gives more initiative to your creatures, I just wonder if the multipliers work as well??!

I love this treant! Got a 4 dot treant with 3 red stars, he can silence for 2 turns the main target and adjacent targets for one turn. It's crazy strong. And he's a tank too. Utility tank with silence, 13k HP, 2,3k defense....... CRAZY I LOVE IT SO MUCH! 
This probably saved my progression. I can easily take it as a legendary equivalent.

What does DOT mean? You mean the combo-things above? Like fire/water/fire/dark? or something like that?
Or does dot mean what level you got him? Like Treants can be level 5, and you caught a level 4 one?

I don't understand those dots anyway, do you need them to go beyond lord difficulty?
Most of my monsters have only 1 or 2 dots and I got a kitsune with 3 or so dots and I just killed it off to give my (10.000.0000 money worth) high level kitsune an upgrade.
I hate these dots kinda, as you get some monsters laters with more dots and then you already have a very high very expansive version of the creature...

Dots are CRUCIAL.
I tried to explain a bit here, as well as putting my current team as example here explaining why I like how it works with the dots. There's also the post from StoneRose here. Quote a part from these if you don't understand.

More dots equate more mana, more combo multiplier if all the dots are different in element, and in the dungeon challenge creatures' turns come faster. For example, if you have a small / medium / large creature, if they have 3 dots they will take 4 turns to perform an action, but if they have 4 dots it will take only 3 turns! For boss creatures, if they have 3 dots they take 3 turns to act, if they have 4 they take only 2! At least those are my observations. Basically the more dots it has the better it is. And yes, I avoid leveling up creatures that have only 2 dots or less, it's mostly a waste. Maybe they'll be good if the devs decide to give the player the possibility of adding combo dots to their creatures.

Not really, it's just a transition, you can't start with 3 and 4 dot creatures. But if you feel like you have the resources, be on the lookout for them, or at least keep them for better days! This treant was my first 4 dot creature and I have about 10 3 dot creatures, the vast majority was under 2 dots.
Btw Galaad, what quests can you do at King difficulty?

I have not one 3 dot creature, I traded some away.... So you should collect 3/4 dot creatures and slowly upgrade those?
Btw, how can your treant already have three red stars? did you find THAT many treants?

Not necessarily, just keep on looting and do quests that have higher chance to give creatures, you will tweak your party with time, think of the future ones too for color counters, it helps to win without needing to level up too much. Do multi-summons with tickets, you should have tons of them, I never got more than two dots with these but it should be possible to also get those rarer 3 or 4 if lucky.

I can do the Giant and current Event. Never got those huge gems out from them though.

Yes, more dots = better creature because the dots can be either used for combo multiplier or mana fill. And I recently learned creatures with higher dots act faster in your dungeon defense.

No it's not a waste, your team will change eventually but as long as your progress is stable with your team, I don't see a reason why your entire team is a 'waste'.
Let me give you an example: Currently my team has 4 creatures with 3 dots and 1 creature with 2 dots.
As soon as a discover a creature with 4 dots, does this mean he will instantly go into my team? probably not, because it has to combo well with the other creatures.
Another example is, I have two (mediocre) legendary fire creatures. A minotaur and a Cyclops. They are both lvl 90 and the minotaur has much better raw stats, does this mean I ditch my older cyclops and put the minotaur in my team? No, because the Cyclops works well with my other creatures their dots, which is a pretty balanced team that allows me to complete most missions on King difficulty, something I would currently not achieve with the minotaur. Does this make the minotaur useless? No, because as soon as I find creatures that work together well with him, He will probably become my new red creature (I hope so, he looks way more badass than the cyclops ).

Concerning this week's event mission, I wanted to discuss some things.
This mission has a lot of different bonuses to offer in the challenge, and although I imagine the gained profit for each decision may be small, but when grinding the quest over 50 times (to fully awaken that treant!) may make quite a difference.
Generally your options are:
- receive a random buff OR some gold
- receive an XP boost OR some gold
- receive a gold boost OR some gold
- Receive some gold OR some tokens
I generally take the XP boost, or the gold boost bonus, and before looting anything I complete the map, then I start to loot all the treasures.
Between the other choices I mostly pick the gold (been leveling some creatures cost me an arm and a leg lately).
Is this most profitable? I think so, what do you guys think? I think the gold/XP buffs easily give more profit that the straight award, but i'm not sure If i rather pick tokens over gold.
P.S. Can any of you confirm this for the guide? (assumed) 4 dots = maximum 16x damage

AFAIK 1 dot = 2x, 2 dots = 4x, 3 dots = 8x, 4 dots = 16x damage. Ofc they have to be of different colors.

Did Lord provide the most drops for you?
I'm in Knight for now and can't quite beat Lord yet cuz I'm trying to refrain from building 2d monsters and my 3d ones don't combo off one another so I haven't built them. I got one 2d Treamt and hoping a 3d drop is possible in Knight difficulty.
Do we know if 3d (dot) monsters can drop there?

Sorry folks, I got nailed with a pretty bad sinus infection and I've been out the last couple days. I'll try and catch up here a bit...
Combo dots matter on dungeon defense, but only the number of them matter-- not the color. More dots speeds up how fast your defenders will attack.

Well, I played the event on Squire, Knight and Lord only once and all the rest on Prince, the drop rate was about 50% of the time, Tengu and Panda dropped a bit more. Now it seems that I can do it on King, just gave it a spin and it dropped a 3 dot treant. I'll most likely use it for another awakening.

At lvl 52 these creatures (and a maximum awakened fire giant too). At first i thought, just spent a lot of money but....
Considering you can't buy ankhs and you can only gamble ankhs for tokens which you can't buy either i'm really confused. Am i missing something? If that person has grinded all those red ankhs in prince/king adventure it's impossible to be still lvl 52....
I don't want to call people cheaters but if thats not the case, what am I missing?
P.s. are you actualy allowed to play the game yourself hungrydragon or forbidden policies?
I can bring this up with CS and check it out. On the surface, it looks like someone that dumped a ton of money during the summon event. A little luck from the top level token chests can speed up the evolution process, as well.
I am allowed to play the game! I don't play competitively on the live servers (I save that for the internal test server  ).
