I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean by this.
Like instead of a dupe monster counting as one (1) awakening material if it's max level, it'll count as two (2) when used in Awakening.
Oh! That's a good idea, too. I'll be sure to pass that along.

Maybe we should keep a list of monsters and quantities needed for Awakening so ppl could gauge which to go after if they differ?

What level did you get it on? I can only reach Lord on some quests
If it was his first try it is probably a safe bet to say it was on the first difficulty (I forget what super easy is called).
The drop rate hits around 80-90% when you reach king in my experience. Difficulty does not affect dots as far as I know.
Really not feeling the event this week. Not a fan of either the Ogre or Gnoll. Probably going to do it anyway as they both appear to be pretty good.
I think that the best way to build a dungeon will be to go for high damage, nuking creatures. I have not run into a Dungeon I can not defeat in a while, the closest I have come to defeat is when they have things like Light Elementals or Gnolls.
I love retaliating against the number one person in my round and earning 130 points.
I wanted to place within the top ten this week to earn an awakening essence but gave up on that a while ago. Your pep talk, Galaad, has made me reconsider it since I have 120 challenge points waiting in my mail. I don't know......the gap is large.

Which rank are you Raenus? If you're saving them for the next Legendary Challenge it's a good move, you should even beat the crap out of pay-to-win players. 
I am also interested by the awakening essences, is the gap that large for tenth place in your pool?

I am currently rank 24 with over 2,000 points in between me and the person in tenth.
And yeah, been purchasing almost all of the 25 point bundles and saving them for when I really, really want to place high in a round. Also I figure that just placing one tier higher in the ranking or pushing myself over the edge into then next progression tier will earn me back between 30-50 points so......yeah. Stocking up.

Gnoll was my first "good" character, glad to hear he may still work in Dungeons. Thinking of maxing even though he's only 2* as it'll also make my Demon Beserker basic work better.

Usually single target, Light elemental is just so powerful that it counts as even spread out it can often one hit kill your creatures. Basically anything that can do a LOT of damage. You can heal a wounded creature, but things start to go downhill FAST when one dies. Less targets means that your remaining creatures take more hits, less mana for abilities, if your healer/resurrecting creature dies you are screwed.
I have had issues with Owls, Kitsunes, Gnolls, Dark Elves.....things like that.
Gnoll hits one target hard.
The Ogre could be good in my opinion as random chance can cause it to do a lot of damage. Not so sure on it though.

Wait the end of event, you may get a 3 or 4 dots one, not guaranteed but who knows. Yes, assassins are the best damage dealers it seems.

I'm really unhappy with some parts of this game...
I like the overal game it has a very cool and fun basic.
BUT.
Making almost EVERY freaking monster uncatchable is just a cheap way of making money.
I don't care if you take away the big hitters in the game like phoenix, all those dragons and giants and all others most regular people do murders for.
But making Tengu, Dire Wolf, Elementals, Harpy, Water Horrors, Gorgons and COckatrices (and much more, sirens, jiangshi, manticore too much to mention) all totem summons and event creatures is insane, it makes me kinda bored with the game at times, knowing you can't catch those creatures....
PE-LEASE. Just focus on the big guys such as those giants and dragons to make money from.
It makes the game so much more fun. Really. Also DON'T add minotaur, medusa and unicorn and dark elf to the Giant and Dragon herd, make them rare monsters instead not legendary.
This weeks event is boring, really I don't even want that Ogre and Gnoll, and NO OTHER FREAKING monster even dropped for me at all. All those Dark Elves and other cool creatures only torture my eyes, and so far I played this event like 10 times and no ogre drops at all, only 3 gnolls which you can catch anyway as I catched some in the previous event.
Also this event doesn't add to the money at all, you have to pay for donkey and catapult, and the money you find doesn't make up for that so You kinda lose a bit of money in the end, unlease you get a money bonus.
Very cheap event, hope to never see it again.

Just saw this post and checked it out a little, pretty cool. Have you considered collaborating with an artist to get more renditions up?
You could pitch it to some fledglings artists as a way to market themselves (and you) in the process.
Also, do you post a lot of links? I could see using your sight for all these games that let you name your characters and monsters etc. I don't know how many times I've gone to the web to look for some cool name for female characters that weren't the same couple over and over.

I already have a lot of contact with artists and game compagnies (like Paizo/pathfinder) they added a lot of my thoughs in their bestiaries and monster manuals, most unusual mythology monsters in bestiary 4 and 5 are my wishes and sometimes even thoughts (like karkadann and cherufe)
I'm very strickt on artwork, so I need to find myself some real cash and some very good artist. Talked to a lot of them, but my evil schemes to get some art for free doesn't add up because I have SOO much monsters, thoughts and art I want, it gonna cost me a million probably to work all my thoughts on beautiful paper.
But thanks anyway.
I hope more compagnies use creatures I name, they can freely use them as they are of course open content, that is the beauty on mythology/folklore an cryptids.

You need to take part in 4 dungeon challenges. Last week it was 'Shadows-of-something', two weeks ago it was 'Flight of the Phoenix' and now it's 'Horn to be wild'.
Maybe someone will know this one - how much approximately is 'reduced damage' e.g. in Mage, Healer and Defender attack types? I noticed it's really low and deals next to nothing to adjacent targets (in Mage's case).
Also, what Tome would you suggest for a Runic Statue and Phoenix? First one doesn't really need Power from the Mystic Tome. The bird, on the other hand, could use some extra mana.

Reduced damage seems really bad in a game where the best tactic is to kill the enemy as fast as possible. Even the Defender tome which has the better passive for battles vs. AI is practically useless for defending your dungeon.

Yeah....... I think you had some really, really bad luck during the event. I had enough to do 1 multisummon during the Valentines day event and I got a Pheonix..........And a Fire Giant........And an Ifrit.
I would save your gems for events if I were you (which I am anyway, also saving gem idols).

Yea well, I am saving but... my goodness, another one with 3 legendaries in one multi summon. I thought we'd share the burden of being unlucky together, but I guess you're a normie now
