Just finished the Shadow of Death campaigns
The campaigns started off well. The storyline in most of Gem's campaign (the first one I played) was interesting. Unfortunately, the story got worse and worse as the campaigns progressed, being quite underwhelming. By far the worst offender is Sandro simply being behind everything bad that happens in the RoE storyline, taking away a lot of the plausibility of the narrative. The whole "big bad guy who wants to conquer the world" thing is very over-the-top, too, and doesn't really make for an interesting story.
