Another Sanctuary

Heroes:
Class: Tidecaller (magic)
Sorcerers from the deepths, who commands the power of the very seas around them to their will.

Armies:
The sanctuary armies are specialised in controlling their enemies. Many of their creatures have abilities that allows them to limit the enemy movement and innitiative, which greatly decreases the enemy's options and giving the santuary player the upper hand.
Furthermore, all sanctuary creatures have the amphibian ability.
Amphibian: Takes x% reduced water damage. A sanctuary hero with an army of amphibian creatures can move over water without a boat.

Tier 1.

Tako/War Tako (walker/melee)
Lore:
The Tako is a people of sentient octopi often found inhabiting coastal areas, living in small villager in underwater reefs. Though peaceful, the tako will do anything to defend their villages if need be, and are known to blind their enemies with ink when attacked, as a mean to blind and distract them.

(u) While the tako are relatively peaceful, their warriors are reknown for being rather aggressive. There are even several stories about unfourtunate adventures being swarmed by takos after just getting a bit too close to one of their villages.

Abilities:
Inky defenses: Sprays the enemy with ink instead of retaliating, slowy moment and have a x% chance of causing a blindign effect.
Enrage (u): Gains bonus x attack when a ally stack dies.


Jellyfish/Kurage (flyer, melee)
Lore:
Large, flying jellyfish is not an uncommen sign by the southern seas and islands. These magical creatures floats more or less aimlessly through the air much like their waterbound cousins do in the sea, using their tentacles to paralyze and catch small prey. They have very limited intelligence however, only having the most basic of survival instincts.

(u) The kurage is a lager variant of the flying jellyfish. In addition to their increased size, they also have an even more terrible sting than their lesser cousins, capable of paralysing even large creatures. Tidecallers have found a way to controll these creatures, sending them in the general direction of the enemy.

Abilities:
Semiliquid: Takes x% reduced damage from all sources
(u) Paralyzing sting: Have an x% chance of paralyzing enemies hit. Paralyzed creatures have an 50% chance of forced skip their turn for 5 turns.

Tier 2.

Samebito/Wanizame warrior (walker, melee)
Lore:

Abilities:
Crippling Wound: Creature has X% chance of decreasing the target's Move and Initiative. Target is wounded for X turns.
Double strike: If atleast one creature dies from the attack, it may attack again (after retaliation)
(u) Bloodthirst: Bonus x attack against damaged creatures.

Tier 3.

Nereid/Siren (walker, ranged)
Lore:
Nereids, or as they are more commonly know as, sea nymphs, are female water spirits said to be the daugthers of the sea gods of old. Thouh they are stunningly beautiful, they are also skilled in magic and provides their aid to many warring lords of the seas.

(u) Sirens are a cast of sea nymphs notorious for luring unprepaired sailors to their untimely end with their irrisitable song, which even some women find hard to work against, usually by having their ship smashed up against rocky reefs. It is unknown what happens to the poor sailors, with theories varrying from being kept as husbands or slaves of the sirens, to ending up as their next meal.

Abilities:
Caster: Unit is able to cast spells during combat (Bless, ice bolt, frost armor (u))
(U) Sirensong: have and x% chance to cast hypnosis upon attacking.


Giant crab/Krakinos (walker, melee)
Lore:
?

Abilities:
Armored: Immune to armor reduction
Bash: Gives a chance to stun the enemy, making them unable to retaliate and causing them to loose innitiative.
(u) Spiky shell: Deals x% of damage taken back to the attacker.

Tier 4.

Naga/Naga Queen (walker, melee)
Lore:
?
Abilities:
No enemy retaliation: enemies cannot retaliate to the units attacks
(U) Four waves: Have a x%  chance to gain additional attacks when targeting an enemy it damaged last round, stacking up to a max of 3 additional attacks.

Tier 5.

Dragon turtle/Elder dragon turtle (walker, melee)
Lore:
?

Abilities:
Dragon breath: Attack hit the innitial target and all targets behind it.
Armored shell: Reduces all nonmagical damage by x%
(u) Freezing breath: lowers the movement of all units hit by the creature's attack

There is Dragon Turtle/Elder dragon turtle on tier 1 and tier 5 is that intentional or just mistake ?

So amphibian islike a racial ability since most units have it. Shouldnt it be stated then at the beginning rather than repeat it for every unit?
You could come up with more abilities per unit if you wanted this way.

The only images that are oversized are the two last ones, just shrink those down and for the rest you could already [img][/img].

Thank you for the links.

I don't have time for debating much as even as heroes-related stuff, I am mapmaking for my Heroes IV mod.

Which brings me the idea that if your custom faction/s gets enough attention, maybe I can mod them in   Heroes IV graphics modding is becoming relatively easy these days.
