Fun Facts

Ok, time to awake the nerdy side of the Heroes Community.
I've been watching hundreds or even thousands of videos about random facts that ,,you probably didn't know''. So, everyday, I am going to add another few facts about something that you probably didn't know. Some of them I already had in my mind, and bored of knowing so much and overwhelming my brain, I had to let it all out.
So, let's get started.

1.If you are feeling lonely in Japan, you can rent a Japanese middle aged man for 10$ hour.
2.The 4th richest man in the world, Warren Buffet, is worth $58.3 Billion but still lives in the house he bought for $31.500 in 1958
3.The sloppy handwriting of doctors kills more than 7000 people annually.
4.Air jordan's shoes were banned by the NBA. However, Jorder wore them anyway, because Nike was willing to pay the fine each game
5.In 2008 there was a music festival called ,,Festival of the **** bands'' where bands such as ****ed Up, Holy **** and **** Buttons performed. It was held in ****ing, Austria. YES, that is a real place.
6.In Moscow,Russia, there are stray dogs that ride the subway trains on the same schedule every day.
7.Each episode of Game Of Thrones costs $6 Million to produce.
8.If the US cut it's military budget by 85% it would still have the largest military budget in the world.
9.Russia is the same size as Pluto.
10.The record for the longest Facebook conversation belongs to Dawar Kazi, who with his friends, have commented 584,444 times on a Facebook status update.
11.It is estimated that the world's helium supply will have run out by 2030 and party balloons will cost about 90$

That's it for today. More facts later.

Are you sure about the 8 tough? I'm pretty sure Russia has quite big and they might not want to share the exact numbers.

Speaking of ****ing, the welcome signs for that town had to be held down because the signs kept getting stolen by tourists.

Yeah, I live near a 69 highway...same thing for years but they had to be put back - being a highway and all. I don't see many missing signs today..."Cool" changes over time it seems.

Forgot to add something

I don't know how well this humor will pass to other nations but here in Missouri there is a tiny town called "Tightwad" and this place has/had a Bank. People would open an account just to say they did business with the Bank of Tightwad. It must not have been around when Jesse and Frank James were robbing banks or we would have read about them robbing that bank in History-books.

Ok, here's part 2 for today

1.The founder of match.com , Gary Kremen, lost his girlfriend to a man she met on match.com.
2.The sun's core is so hot that a piece of it the size of a pinhead would give off enough heat to kill a person 160 KM away.
3. Women buy 80% of everything that is for sale. Which means that 8 out of 10 purchases made around the world in a single day are made by women.
4.Ants can survive in a microwave, because they are small enough to dodge the rays.
5.The Great Pyramids used to be as white as snow because they were encased in a bright limestone that has worn off over the years.
6.Jellyfish evaporate in the sun, because they are 98% water.
7.In the course of an average lifetime, you will eat, whilst sleeping, eat 70 assorted insects and 10 spiders.
8.A person can live without food for about a month, but only about a week without water. If the ammount of water in your body is reduced by just 1% you will feel thirsty. If it's reduced by 10% you die.
9.Hot water is heavier than cold water because it contains more energy
10.Elephants can die from a broken heart. They are highly emotional animals and will mourn the loss of loved ones, often going into withdrawal, which sometimes causes death.
11.There is a term for the opposite of ,,ambidextrous''. It's ,,ambisinister'' and it means you're equally crap with both hands.

Now in these, there where more I knew. Specially the 3 was little too familiar for me. Today I said to my wife; Don't you buy any of those silly tupperware products. She reply: Only one, the cheapest there is. Few hours later, she did not buy one silly expensive cup, not two, but tree silly expensive plastic cups, because "she got discount" when bought so many! Womens and their idea of "saving", yeah right...

You're welcome. And you do not have to post facts that everyone knows, the idea is posting facts that some people don't know.
For example, saying that Jacob Sartorious sucks. Except for his fanbase, everyone else knows that. So, yeah.

I guess, they are the 20 percent that's left

It seems the statement is semi-accurate though:

If the consumer economy had a sex, it would be female.  Women drive 70-80% of all consumer purchasing, through a combination of their buying power and influence.  Influence means that even when a woman isn’t paying for something herself, she is often the influence or veto vote behind someone else’s purchase.
