1) mr. markkur have no fear of the mongering, and what now? - His personal data, such as phone number stolen by a automatic program - a bot, that can scan a thousands and thousands stuff for such information.  - If he have the Tor - something like that may never happens.

What I described was a phone-scam and it seems they are all over the world today...that's why I posted the "scam"..."as a heads-up" to anyone here who may not have heard about it.

Btw, today's world is full of elaborate technology and some of it is not in the public-sector.  <imo>If someone really wants something from you they can likely already get it no matter what you do. Just be wise with what you say and where you go on the net.

P.S. What the hell "OP" is?

OP = Opening Post or 1st Post in the thread.

Also, I'm with the others about your overuse of "images". I don't expect you to listen to me but if you will work only with English and leave the images alone for the most part - you will improve writing in English even faster. You are learning it and that's good but make it easier for yourself and try putting into words what you post in pictures. Just an idea

And in which way, the scammers have obtain your phone number and personal data, what do you think about that?

Perhaps you have shown up your IP on some scam-resource, then automatic bot program just make simple calculations like 1 + 1 = 10 , and your location, phone number, and other data magically transported to the another automatic program that have make a call, or to the some real human scammer ? - Is it possible?
The Tor is solution for that

I think for the common mortals, mr markkur, breaking the Tor, it is a not a very easy task... Whonix + mumbo jumbo + Tor + I2p  + ... whatever, and even if you are truly lamer as I am, the is a VERY low probability that a poor mortals can get something from you, regardless of what they will do .

Thanx for an advice of images, it is like an addiction, I just like a cool images . And of course I will try to improve my English. This language is a very useful indeed. I can talk with a many peoples using it - it is an amazing.

I doubt it has anything to do with Markkur.. just going through a phone book in a semi-random order may be more effective.

In my country there is a huge amount of registration, if I search my name I find where I live, my phone number, etc. If I search my phone number I get my name, etc. If I search where I live.. well you get it I think. But we also have name list where everyone's name, address, phone number, etc. gets added to automatically, unless you go out of your way to ask it not to.

There has been a lot of critique of this in my country, e.g. registration numbers have been lost, allowing others not only to access information about you, but have been able to buy in your name. Of course the person who is victim of such crime doesn't suffer financial loss, but it's still very bad to get mails from companies that think you owe them money and then have the police to tell them they have lost their money and should have better security (and no they are not talking about tor ).

I myself have stopped picking up the phone unless it's a number I know. If I don't know the number I'll look it up. If the name is someone I know, I'll add them, so it won't happen again.

frostysh I believe it's not the first time you are being told: could you please stop image-spamming in every single post you make?

And BTW Tor is being used by pedophiles and terrorists, if you want to share your computer with these guys, just listen to frostysh.

True story about the terrorists using Tor.

I know a few people that vigorously promote this tor thing, and I have the right to believe they are tied to Chechen and Armenian organised crime and/or terrorist groups.

Do you really think they did much research on their victims? Of course not. Most consumers use Windows. They just call random numbers and see if those people can be lured into opening their PC to them. If they get someone on the line who doesn't own a PC or doesn't have a Windows PC, they'll just say they made a mistake, put down the phone and call the next random phone number.

Not only that, a few years ago many many people in my country had a phone call from the same few numbers I believe, anyone who picked up the phone would be hanged up on right away, very likely done by a machine that only had to figure out who would answer their phone.

It was believed those who picked up the phone would be registered as "answers phone" or something similar, and could e.g. later be sold to people who wanted to scam or sell something.

And you are sure about that ?
I mean perhaps, would be better for the scammers, place the program on their website, this program will locate IP - then real address, then phone number, and of course the type OS . I mean 350 millions and you calling a random , this is little bit stupid .

In my country, IP addresses can't be traced back to individual people's phone numbers and addresses. That information falls under the privacy laws here, which explicitely state that companies holding on to such information may not expose it to the public at large and are required to have security in place against information theft. Yet, the phone scam detailed above happens over here as well.

It doesn't really make a lot of sense anyway to do something so convoluted which only grants the IP address of whoever visits the home page when there are public registers freely available including the majority of the population in many different countries such as my own.

If having a computer at all or a computer with windows was a rare phenomena I could follow the logic, but I won't be surprised if not more than 95% of the people who gets picked randomly don't have a PC with windows.

Perhaps you are right, and the Supply Provider can protect your geoposition from the scamms. Perhaps phone-scum just randomly select the victims.

I just proposed my own version of how things can going on , nothin more. I mean, I just want to hear something that will approve it or disapprove.

But, still, as a total noob, I wold recommended Tor, regardless of the any personal information protect laws in your country.. ,  against scammers. - It is an easy to establish, it is an easy to use, and it is grants a decent protection. <imo>  Tor is an amazing
