I found the game files in Polish and they didn't include uncja/uncje so I didn't either. Are you sure the cost text fits fine with uncja/uncje?

I guess by 'FINAL' you mean you need a break?

In any case normally would keep these things up for a few weeks to make sure no bugs show up when the crowd uses it. Then i need to integrate it with my personal latest version (some creatures still have some changes, shadow witches whip strike for example is currently bugged and will be removed).

Lol, yeah, not only I need a break, I wanted to give a break to people who'd like to try it out but got dizzy because of the updates

By the way, it'd be easier if you let me know of any upcoming changes and I reflect them on this mod before I deliver you the very end product to be included in the next MMH5.5 update

Also, I need to make some changes on the SkillWheel (basically the new faction icons used here) so let's make sure we put them all in together in the next MMH5.5...

I took word "uncja " from this side: :http://www.tawerna.biz/czytaj_artykul_430_skarby-i-surowce-na-mapie-przygody-w-heroes-v.html, but yes, this word does not occur in the game.
I tried several solutions, because the text appearing original in the game (hero and town specialization, mines) is too long, for example (without polish signs):
Daje dwie (2) jednostki siarki tygodniowo.
Magazyn Zasobow dostarcza dziennie 1 jednostke krysztalu.
Magazyn zasobow dostarcza dziennie 1 jednostke klejnotu.
Daje dwie (2) jednostki klejnotu tygodniowo.
Daje dwie (2) jednostki siarki, krysztalu i klejnotu tygodniowo.
Magazyn zasobow dostarcza dziennie 1 jednostke rteci.
The best solution is probably to shorten the text: "+2  jednostki siarki", replacing  the word "jednostki" with the shortcut "j."
We get "+2 j. siarki"

@Mario: Please let me know what changes you'd like to "I" can release a final update for the mod in Polish. Don't worry about fixing things yourself...



@magno: I have two candidate locations where a button to the Necropolis page *only* is warranted IMO: the Necromancy "raise creatures" screen, and the Shrine of the Netherworld screen.

Please see the screenshots below, which also reveal some unfortunate errors that needs to be fixed: "rise" is used instead of the correct "raise", and "Shrine of the Netherworld" is for some reason named "Unholy Temple"... I can easily fix those errors and add a button to the Necropolis page *only* (even without the buttons for switching to other factions, because the need here is exclusively for Necropolis). The button would be of the same design as the skillwheel button





Let me know if you approve... which you really should

No, no more buttons that's just excessive,

you mostly already made your choice since you are just adding to your existing army and in the rare instances then right click will do just fine.

I gave a second thought and I now see that a button at the Shrine of the Netherworld is not needed, all because you're already in the castle and you can easily cancel the window and take a look at the creaturepedia.

However, the Necro raise screen does not give you that option and you have to really decide on the spot. Even though in late game you have most likely chosen your upgrade already, there are times (not that rare) you haven't upgraded yet and it may be a while before you visit your castle and you may get stuck with the upgrade that you pick at that moment for a significant length of time. A button there could come really handy... Is it a must-have? No... Is there value to it? Yes.

In any case, someone should definitely fix those errors...

No, think about it longer, only in early ganme when you have early opportunity to raise t4,5 or 6 you have to make a decision and even then 80% of the info is already available to you and if you fail the retraining price for such a small group is neglectible.

A good player should have all upgrades thought out in week 1 already anyway since it relates to your plan for skill buildup.

While that proves I never needed it in 10 years, since if it had annoyed me i would have known, I'm willing to adapt to needs of others.

But now i have another concern, I noticed a slight slowing down of the creature upgrade window opening, not much of an issue for this window since you don't use it very often, but the necro rise screen comes up after every battle and the game already needs to run extra scripts after every battle as well for certain h55 features. So I would like to know if only the necro section will cut the time needed to an unnoticable amount?

It really should because the screen would contain only the Necro info (no access to other factions), which is one 9th of the whole thing. I'm about to implement it in the mod version for vanilla TotE, so we can verify that soon enough...

Edit: I have a side question: Is it possible (as in doable with your means) to make it so that you can demote the Necro creatures offered for raising to their unupgraded versions? I've looked at the game files and it seems like it's hardcoded but wanted to ask anyway...

Is seems that there is a little bug.
If the town has no built dwellings, AND there is at least one captured faction dwelling outside the town, when ‘hire creature’ button in town screen is pressed, this happens:




When creature info screen is pressed this happens:




Only when ‘hire in dwelling button is pressed’ the usual and expected interface is shown:



When hire creature town screen is dismissed and started again bug remains.
Bug disappears when the first town dwelling is built.

Apart for that that little inconvenience the Creaturepedia is really nice and neat.
Also, perhaps creatures in the preview screens have grown little bit too much.

I apologize for complaining about creature preview animations. I suppose after experimenting little bit with the level of camera zoom I didn’t expect the creature preview animations in hire creature screens to look so big. Ah well perception…
So, I’ve returned the original autoexec_a2.cfg and the above-mentioned bug remains.
I’ve tried it on without Creaturepedia, and everything works as usual.
The map is standard map, it comes with the installation, it is called “The art of strategy”. I’ve tried with several different map and the result is always the same if there are no creature dwellings built in the main castle and the one or more are captured outside the castle.

I’ve just modified a map and tried with several outside dwellings.
It's not faction related. If there is no dwelling built in the town, the bug appears.
I suppose that means that the bug appears if the ‘hire creatures’ screen is inactive.
As soon as the first dwelling in town is built, everything works just fine.

New Version!

Hey guys, here is a new version with a button at the Necro Raise screen and some other improvements:

MMH5.5 Creaturepedia v9

The version for MMH5.5 greatly improves the texture quality of the common large dialog window. It also improves the quality of the Skillwheel, with better background textures and faction icons. Hopefully all these changes will go into the next MMH5.5 release...


Creaturepedia v9 for Heroes V TotE 3.1

As before, the version for Heroes V TotE provides access at the Town Build screen. Unfortunately, there is a visual glitch with this version (due to how the game engine handles screens that open from the Adventure map with wide aspect ratio settings) in that the Creaturepedia window gets awkwardly centered but only when accessed at the Necro Raise screen. This glitch cannot be fixed. Everything is perfect when accessed elsewhere...
