So Vivendi's takeover is about as similar to Trump's election as a fart would be. Those terms are far too broad for any meaningful comparison. Basically you got nothing. Also would appreciate it if you kept the memes out of the OSM.

My feelings about both are similar, both mean something new, potentially dangerous and harmful. However, I'm not aiming to say anything more, no "meaningful" comparison

Same here but this is the result of years of brainwashing and terror spread from major medias. So people are unaware of their real power when correctly informed. What would you estimate that man's intellectual and emotional depth to be exactly? What kind of "revolutionary change" would you expect from someone who has the kickers of a teenager? Is his stance about immigration issues any deeper? Some immigrants are not nice. Really! So, let's build a wall. What a sociological grasp... I get it when you position mud-slinging as a desperate tactic, it is, and it will backfire when people are reactionary about actual problems. But that doesn't change the fact that someone like Trump is not the solution for the problems the mud-slingers accused him of... really being what he is.

I bet Trump's presidency won't be special. It will be his personality more than anything else. Like all other presidents, he will do as the words whispered in his ear tells him to. Only a third of his promises will be fulfilled. America might change a little at home, but oversea "politics" ( war ) won't be changed.

The one who lives in the reality. I often meet people in the artistic world which, while not being exceptionally intelligent or charismatic, they get one new woman every evening because: a) they gravitate in a closed world where the social rank and "fame" is decisive then b) they have money, a lot of money, and a majority women, picked exclusively from the category which is present in those social circles, love that and will do whatever it takes to get it. Kennedy had grabbed 3000+ pussies but didn't brag about or probably no one recorded the OFF sequence when he did. Yet he is considered as an icon. Lets stop the hypocrisy, its a different galaxy up there.

Should we really care about his depth or intellectual aptitudes, we don't ask him to be neither Einstein or Ghandi? But about him being enough logical and pragmatic to see that complex and multi-conflictual issues can ALSO have simple and straight solutions. Solutions that others would not have even discuss if not Trump.
As expelling all illegals.
As controlling borders.
As reserving work to American citizens, because they have ONE country, theirs. If they can't find help or work in the only country they belong to, they have nowhere to go. Or is exile now part of social issues?
As using any tool to break terrorism, including torture as waterboarding.
As stopping living in the 1960 and realize Russia wants to cooperate and Putin aint devil.
And so on.

Good objection at some parts, although I see no direct connection between demonizing Putin and the political opponents of Trump, American-Russian conflict is more like a state policy emposed by geo-politics, Trump is a character who'd jump on that train quite fast and he may very well do that if "the advisors" tell him to, which was part of my main point. It's not "fate" sure, but it is a policy way over 4/8 year presidencies or Hillary Clinton.
Kennedy died too young to mature about such things AND he lived under very different social norms AND he, unlike Trump, had ideals beyond his grabbing capabilities. Keep in mind what I object to is partly that people on one hand position Trump as someone who will bring radical change but when it is brought up that he is "no Einstein or Gandhi" the argument suddenly shifts to how he is not so awful as they make him sound. IF Trump is a pragmatist (besides being a very shallow one), and I have not seen one person who refused that, then what is this hype about him taking back the power to the people? IF NOT, what makes you think so?
