yeah, if only one thing, there is the fact that it is very easy for academy to get precision spell. very good on titan.
hum I dunno if sea monster is better than titan, but I don't remember if I ever got some in my army. In an IA army I would fear them less than titans.
the 8/10 seemed a bit low for angel, I think they are very good and not too far from phoenix. slightly stronger but slightly slower, their resurection special is better but they lack the fire abilities.

On his own, angel is strong (8 is pretty high), maybe he deserves a little bit more cause his impact is comparable with hydra or bd... My problem with angel is Life's lineup- crusader is solid unit but it will take some time until he will reach enemy, same pikeman, so angel would be on his own. Without strong buffs (and angel will rather start before hero) it can be harsh start for him.
With monk or with ballista he either would be in the front without any hope for help (not counting units from castles gathered during adventure), either their defender- quite solid (and there would be time to buff him properly) but noone would in this case attack enemy's spellcasters and shooters.
Resurrection ability is great, no doubt about it, but it is hard to use it due to the fact that later, when there are less angles, it is far weaker. Also in 2nd or 3rd turn there is little time to spend whole turn to ressurect some minor unit when it is the high peak of the battle.
Overall angle is good creature, sometimes very good, just with other units he would be better. I almost always choose champion (how strong is angle on multi- no idea, always play single player)

Each lv 4 creature has +/- sides. But I must say that I find the Devil/Phoenix to be the most potent level 4 fighter. (Not going to involve Gathering Storm or Winds of War creatures, for we all know they are just too extreme.)

they are my 2 favourite as well. though I actually prefer summon ice demons over teleport even if teleport is very good. sure, it makes you lose a turn, but you gain a strong stack who can eat retaliations and freeze enemies. it makes for easy battles against AI. you could also use imps to refill your devils mana pool and drown your enemies in waves of demons.

Devil is cool, strong and without a doubt one of the most fun units to play
he just does not benefit that much from Necro spells and undead theme, as fighter he is average and the possibility to eliminate at once enemy's hero or powerful spellcasters is just too good to miss it (and summoning demons is sometimes luxury due to lack of time and space)
Devils are insane especially when summoned (although that recquire a really developed hero)
maybe 8+ would be more fair or even 9 but it he lacks pure firepower

Faerie Dragon for me. Early on even 1 or 2 of em, split up, can make a major difference using confusion. In larger numbers instakilling weak 2nd row heroes with fireballs.
Titans.. I don't like Order, but any ranged lvl4 creature is bound to be OP WITHIN an army
Followed by Mantis (the only viable unit for cc-ing a Black Dragon), Bone Dragon, Champion and Dragon Golem. Lvl 4 creatures and 1st strike/no retaliation are ingredients for a massacre
