Battle of the sexes!
Has there ever been a tournament to see who is the greater male or female?
If not, I think there should be, it would make for quite an interesting match me thinks.
We all know who would win anyway don't we?
(I'll leave that one hanging)

No need to have one, girls suck at turn-based strategy games. Don't believe me? When was the last time you saw a woman besides the Polger sisters in the top 1,000 chess players in the world?

Yep, I remember that match like it was yesterday. I'm still steaming about it.
Let's see what I and my partner did wrong...
1. I picked Fortress w/Andra. Why did I pick him? Because I didn't respect my competition. It got me killed in the end. My fault; won't happen again against you or any other woman.
2. It was my first time on the map. Even though Good_Knight_One(my partner) was helpful and informative, I still wasn't efficient.
3. I built a frigging mage guild day 1!!!!! What was I thinking? I had no idea how resource rich toh maps were and I made that critical error w/my build.
4. I didn't remind Good_Knight about stepping on dead stacks to prevent reanimation. I doubt that jb would've taken the battle if he had employed that strategy. But, I was the new kid on the block and I assumed that Good_Knight already knew that.
5. Good_Knight was enamored with Loynis as I was at the time. We both picked magic heroes on a medium map. I personally didn't realize the power level. I knew I was in trouble when I saw my stats in the low 30s and yours about the same or lower.
What you and your partner did right...
1. You picked Crag Hack w/Stronghold. Sheesh, enough said.
Jb picked I think Vidomania(spec necromancy). Nice touch, and lots of skeletons to boot.
2. You got the friggin' pendant of negativity!!! My only decent damaging spell--my only saving grace--a 900+ point chain lightning rendered moot by a stupid necklace. Oh the pain!!!!
3. You and jb played very well and efficiently. We got our butts kicked.
I should also remind you though, that I challenged you on several occasions to a rematch. Unfortunately, you were already booked.
I've not played toh for over a year and am very rusty, so I wouldn't provide much competition to you right now. However, my reply to the thread was of course a generalization. I was not stating that I personally could beat any and all female heroes players(I lost to you, didn't I?) I was stating that men are the best at strategy games. If you disagree tell me your toh ranking. If you are in the top 5 I will retract my statement.
Until then, you are hindered by the curses of your gender,IMHO.

well...
I don't play much in ToH now (especially since it's closed till H4 multi) I played most games in the last while for fun or for B@stards so my ToH ranking in 3rd season was almost non-existant. I'm surprised that you put so much on rankings... In former seasons i was among the top ranked, i was ToH's first female general, so there. maybe the only so far? i'm not sure
Anyways, i was just posting in fun. As for us playing again, yeah you generally did ask me when i was already playing, mainly because the only reason i usually go to zone is to find someone i had a date to play with - i usually play thru ip with people i talk to on icq.
Anyways, take care Gootch I just hate to see anyone saying women can't play this game, especially men i've beaten hehe

If not your really have to do something about your anti-female obsesion...
Females kick your A$$ anyday! Females are the smart gender.. just relay on that!Don't pretent to be the smarter gender because your not...
It's just that girls have lower interests in games.. but the girls that have those intrests really gonna kick your a$$ someday!

Thank god I'm happily married and I don't have to 'brown-nose' the scant amount of women here to fulfill my needs for their attention and affection.
Look kid, I've got no problem w/women. I call'em like I see'em. And when you get older and into more serious relationships, you'll see what kind of a pain they can be.
Until then, enjoy your youth and your naivete.
One more thing, I'm hoping that when you say, kick my a**, you're talking about a game. Because, there's no way a woman is going to kick my butt in RL.

Well I am sure there are great women players out there as much as guys.
I played a few women myself but I beat them to death.
The point is I treat sexes equal & I have fun & play like I usually do.
If you want to play battle of the sexes,well theres a map I think on heroes 3.

Just thought it would make for an interesting tournament.
Perhaps 2 clans of the top players from TOH could play it out.
Let's face it the battle of sexes has been going since the age of dawn and I'm sure it will continue till the end of time(if women get their way lol).
Come on ladys step right up for your chance to kick our arse if you dare!
I gather that there are a higher percentage of male players of course which would only make the ladys victory that much sweeter but let's face it that is unlikely!

Very wise words...one of the qualities in another human i really value is the abilty to admit that you are wrong. No one is perfect in this world, we all make mistakes (Ask the Chelsea players, they know all about it ) but its up to each one to take responsibility for those mistakes.
As to keep this on topic, men are better at women at some stuff and vice versa. Thats what makes us such a good(?) combination
