Ok ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the arena. Our first matchup is about to begin.. first let us introduce our contestants.
From the plane of paradox, covered in peanuts.. it is Geny!
From your local barn..it is Alhazin!
Tonight's contest will be a jousting match.. lets get to the ring for the contest.
Announcer 1 - What is an Owl going to do in a jousting match.. he has no arms..what is an owl doing on a horse in the first place??!
Announcer 2 - Good questions, too bad I have no answers.
Announcer 1 - here they go, they are headed right toward each other, Geny has a lance.. but Alhazin has nothing.. can't hold a lance I suspect.. this may be a short match.
Announcer 2 - AlHazin may not have a lance, but look at him.. he is flying over Geny's lance with ease.. right back unto his horse. looks like this one may go awhile.
Round 2 - 5 Announcer 1- Looks like it is a draw..Alhazin has maneuverability but no way to strike back.. but he is getting tired.. Geny is getting tired also, and has a lance.. looks like this next round will decide the winner
Round 6 - The whole arena is shaking! Earthquake! Geny can not stay on his horse, but AlHazin just flies up out of harms way. Looks like our winner by earthquake is Alhazin!

I totally read that with two different stereotypical announcer/commentator voices and then just sat there giggling. I thought the concept of this thread was kinda weird, but I approve

Announcer 1- Ladies and gentlemen tonight's match up is an endurance test. Contestants must first make it to the other side of the Arena, then the two that make it there first will have to roll a boulder up a hill. The first up the hill gets a headstart on the last leg of the contest..pulling a fully laden chariot one lap around the arena.
Announcer 2 - Elvin is the odds on favor being faster then the other two, and maybe just as strong. First lets announce our combatants.
From the sixth circle of the abyss there is Henry, a real life demon. Too bad the ladies say he is sure no demon in bed. I mean .... um next contestant.
Fresh from the Labyrinth we have a real life Minotaur. He has a lot of endurance, plus the ability never to get lost.
Finally from the Pyre we have Elvin in his Phoenix form. Speed and strength, and no slouch in the endurance department either.
Ok the contestants are lined up. On your mark, get set, GO!
As expected Henry and Elvin have a huge headstart on Energyz, minotaurs are not known for their speed. Wait.., what is Energyz doing? Looks like he put up some sort of maze... oh my god he called in his Labyrinth! Henry is lost in it, looks like he may be out of the going already.
The boulder has slowed Elvin down, it is a bit tricky to push up without any arms..allowing Energyz to catch up. Both are neck and neck when it comes to the chariot pull. Elvin is pulling ahead thanks to his speed again, but his endurance is starting to wane.. the Minotaur is catching up, barely out of breath! He passes Elvin.. looks like we may have an upset... wait.. there is another figure on the field! Henry has cleared the labyrinth, but instead of going after the win.. has went after revenge. He has scooped up Energyz, and drops him all the way back to the boulder... there is no way he can catch Elvin now..
Elvin crosses the finish line first.. thanks to Henry's interference.

Since the contests are based on avatars ... hard to come up with a balanced match .. the dice roll came up Elvin, so it wouldn't have mattered.. but had to give the best challenge..lol

This is a very amusing thread.

With luck I will be making the initial video in 48 hours. I will upload it to youtube, and when it is on there I will link here. Now it will be a very short single fight, but will cover much. I will then continue to work on creatures, and post a second video later with more creatures. Anybody who wants to help me playtest will be welcome to do so.. and if you like what you see and can spread the word to friends that will be awesome. As soon as I get money to hire an artist there will be artwork going up.. and then a kickstarter to help me get miniatures, a board so I can do a longer video.. and to help me get to conventions to demonstrate in person..etc. I is a poor person, so all this will help a ton. Anybody FROM THIS FORUM, who helps me playtest will get a prototype of the game FOR FREE.. Kickstarter supporters will also get benefits.. but here is something GENY (and others from the forum) You get a kickstarter promo SHOULD the game get published without paying for the kickstarter level that will have the promo... if you do the kickstarter level that gets you a copy of the board..you get a personalized signed copy. This is something only a few will get.
IE there will be a kickstarter level that will get signed copies.. you don't have to pay for that, just the level that would get you a copy.. and while people will get signed copies only people here will get it personalized. IE "To Geny, thanks for the support- Jack Osborne" ((My new name by the way))
