Add erm script code

Thanks to salamandre i will try to add some lines of code to the multiplayer. My will is to allow casting dispell on single unit while you re expert.

Can i have some links on how insert code and which program should i use on ERA2 ? i have some mods installed... but playing erm script seems so hard for a beginner

If you never played WoG and if you don't know how erm and mods work, then don't even dream about a multiplayer game tomorrow. As I said, I don't guarantee my script will work in MP, and then game will crash every turn if you don't know which wog options to select ans skip.

A good way to learn erm language is by opening already existing scripts with ERM Editor and start to modifie some parameter and observe the change in game. Also there is a good beginner guide in the ERM Help file (absolutly mandatory to use) and than we have this thread with a tutorial and explanations http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=32519&pagenumber=1

It took me one year before i could built some scripts on my own, so you need a bit of endurance. good luck

You're smarter than me then, it took me 3 years to make my first own script from scratch and stop stealing other people scripts. I was also very lazy.

There s a difference between use a script and create it.

You guy are making some wine rosé while i m drinking at. For now i m a bit no optimistic cause even if i try hard i can t dodge the english which is a real problem when you need to learn deeper.

The game could crash every turn i m not willing to go to day 2. The only reason of this mod is to figth without having to dispell your own spells, with expert mastery. I have done a lot of work since monday for balance the game in all sides, spells, unit and skills.

I hope this system will please you Rerryr and Sal cause i trust in.

hey malax, coding take some time, then testing too. I am OK with sitting down and wasting 1 hour if I think the outcome could help more than one player as when there is some universal demand. But from what I understand there, you just try random things so I am not very motivated.

I understand it s hard to work for free, i promise one thing, i will give you feedback on my work.

- balance all units cost using the gold value and the figth value with mathematics (statistical data)
- i.e balance with testing numbers each type among themselves : hand to hand figth, flying figth, ranged figth
- i.e balance especially conflux units (no exact level, none of them are a round number)
- i.e balance neutrals
- i.e balance naga queens and titans
- i.e balance some creature skills : ghost dragon and vampires lords
- fix a maximum number for vampire lords
- fix a maximum number for griffins royal

- add distribution for chance to appear in the magic school
- symetric schools, new tree for schools, i.e Air and water as a defensive school with a strong summoning and cancel spells, i.e Fire and Earth powerfull in damage and resurection
- ban all spells from opposite schools in four different towns

and more...

Of course it s perhaps an error to change the game and i m only using MM Archives. Now i m thinking differently, you can take all the time you need and excuse me if i have put pressure on you asking you to release it before my party.
