"Ours" were far right ones.

But why the need for that protest in France?

Like I said, the "far right" groups often have moles within them, or provocateurs if you like it. Their objective is to encourage bullcrap behaviour in order to have them more easily persecuted and eventually incarcerated.

They could've at least made a protest, not to detonate the whole town.

Anyway, I'd agree that there would be some action. But nothing much happens; the government has just issued an order that they "do not support such actions", even if it is said that they approved that this movement would happen. Very frustrating.

And you also have those fools that say "if you don't approve of this movement, you don't belong in this country".

That's the infiltrated moles talking. you can easily identify them by their radical bullcrap spewing.

This is an extremely common practice by the Met police in England, unmarked officers have been filmed by protestors to go past picket lines and start fights and violence then slink back again. This turns perfectly peaceful protests into violent ones as people can visibly see the subterfuge/hostility of the police (they're not dumb) and some react quite harshly.

Yes, sure, there actually isn't a far right, everything is just a conspiracy of the liberals, the left and the globalists to discredit the perfectly peaceful and reasonable ideas of the general population.

that kinda thing happens whenever you have groups opposing other groups. MLK Jr. was taken out that way; from within the group. nations do this against other nations, ffs; is it really so farfetched to see it happening anywhere else? it's called espionage.

"Left" and "Right" lost its meaning decades ago.

But yeah, we do have a Renaissance of Nationalism in Europe.

It's bad, IMHO. The US became powerful precisely because it's big and unified. And instead of United States of Europe, EU heads back to small. petty, but oh-so-independant-and-unique little countries that nobody in the world gives two ***** about.

Seriously, who cares about i.e. Poland, Lithuania, Czech Republic? We're nothing. We have no voice on the international forum. We're bound to be poor, pathetic and conquerable, always looking up to the local superpowers. How about forming a superpower, for a change? Forming the USE, that could literally trump over the USA in wealth and power, or at least challenge it? Would that be bad for us, poor, meaningless countries? I don't think so.

yet, instead, there's a lot of people attempting to quit UE and fortify our "independence". More and more each year. Yeah, we'll be sooo powerful that way...

@Doom: Well, there was the idea of Recreating Lithuanian-Polish Empire as a federation, but it's a very, very farfetched idea, even back then when it was conceived. More so today. Eve if such a feat would be possible, the ukrops will most likely pull a maidan again, like they did back in 'ol 1648.

The thing is, with all the liberal fubar crap going on, there will never be a united europe as one... nation, for lack of a better term. Infighting, pointless bickering, Lvov naszce, Wilno naszce movements, and all the other pointless garbage, along with the ongoing flood of "refugees" are the reasons why. Unless a sudden change in global politics hit, and people actually gain some sense, which I doubt.

But it's true, we, the poorsies are nothing but a buffer zone and no one gives a bleep on what our position is.

WHY?

Doomforge -

In my humble opinion. Despite the fact, that "left-right" movements is became obsolete some time ago, they are still useful in some poor/unstable countries "to gather a mob", where the peoples is easy to "be exited" by such radical ideas. Well, the peoples through the all time is like to be "unique" and they liked to explain the world around with the simplest possible ideas and explanations .

And yes, I am agreed that one of the main reason why US and SU so powerful for today is the thing, that in this countries nobody care who are you, and where you from, if you are effective in some field (for an example as A. Einstein in Science) - you are welcomed to become a good citizen of that countries .
The strongest strategy from what I know, that have been developed trough the history of mankind.

About the little ones - Well, imho you are too harsh on them, well of course if we will place Republic of Poland (RoP) VS US, or SU in the direct confrontation, in the Total War (the war where allowed all kind of measures, and where zero tolerance to the enemy - only the total destruction and annihilation without any mercy), well... after a few hours RoP will gone without almost any hope for the future - this is basically true. But this is not means, that the RoP have a such super low weight as you said in the modern geopolitical conditions, I think you are almost totally wrong there.

Mr Doomforge, about the "balancing superpower" I must remind to you, that last "confrontation" between such superpowers almost throw the whole frigging earth population to the abyss (as you may see in the new "Xmen series" ) of the Nuclear War. So I think we must be very careful in this case...

About European Union - yes, if the "pure-nation trick" will be successful and EU will divide - this will be a very bad thing, that will maybe even cause the catastrophic stuff in the future.... <imo> Europe must be united and open, like it was before - or will be too late for "reunion". Of course I can mistaken, - this is only my intuition.

Kipshasz -

Mr Kipshasz, you are operating with a dates and terms that was obsolete even in their times . What about you talkin, it is a "sweet dreams" far from the reality. Any radical moves to things like that almost with no doubts = full scale war with an unreal amount of victims in the center of Europe, no one idiot will make such "present" to the SU guys <imo>

And I may remind to you mr Kipshasz, that the guys that following "liberal fubar c*p", and playing with such "rules" killed the more peoples that all your "favorites" altogether , they have developed technologies and stuff, that was never before, they have changed the entire life of the civilization on the planet Earth,  the influence of this guys is everywhere in the mankind, etc... And I have no doubts, if will be necessary, this followers of "liberal fubar c*p" will kill billions without any hesitations, but I hope I am mistaken... .

And interesting things, when mr JollyJoker, and mr artu, brawling the article of mr Pilger, which proclaiming about evil US and EU that has made those "maidan" in RoU and torturing the poor russia peoples in the Crimea, the "Donbass" area, the same stuff about Syria, about Libya, etc, and  you and mr AlHazin are silent as a dead leaves, and only poor frostysh posting arguments that mr Pilger's article is a piece of snow, but when frostysh posting some harmless nonsense about "Forum RPG" you are like a chorus proclaiming a penalty for me Interesting indeed .
