A soon to be historical moment from the elegant and highly sophisticated Turkish TV debates! Guy on the left is moderate Muslim saying hadiths that contradict with common sense, science and Quran have to be fake, hence ignored. Guy on the right is from the traditional wing, embracing all hadith, sunnah and canonical fiqh. The Moderate asks about the hadith about drinking camel piss for medical purposes, the traditionalist says the hadith is authentic and should be trusted. The moderate then brings on the ultimate test of faith! He puts on a jar of camel piss on the table and asks him to drink it: Refreshing.

absolutely hilarious.

Ukraine, after successfully losing it's natural coal reserves to homosovieticus swines(that even Russia doesn't want them, as they are well stocked on those already) aided by latino drug cartels, basque terrorists(and their lovers) as well as "antifa" from all the dumps imaginable, will now resort to buy the coal from... The Good 'ol US of bleeping A.

The rest of the sane world is laughing it's arse off.

Also, there's a proposition, which comes from my own yard. The proposition is to give Mikhail Saakashvili, former president of Georgia, the afromentioned Country's No. 1 most wanted criminal, a former "governor" of Odessa, a Lithuanian citizenship. Then the world will laugh at our expense, more so, than they laughed at the claim that the upcoming military excercise Zapad '17 will actually be an invasion of the Baltics.

Seem's like the words of the Mad Dog Mattis fell on deaf turncoat commie ears, for I trully believe one objectives of his visit here was to tell my elected political impotents to stfu and cease provoking Russia.

Yeah, actually, hadith is his specialty and he significantly said that one was "sahih." He even tried to justify it by saying Ibn-i Sina (Avicenna to you Westies) also uses urine for treatment in his books etc.

Sahih according to who? Al Boukhari? I never heard of that one personally.

Now for what people used or not to cure, it had to do with the time they were in. Developed technologies offer better treatments.

Hmm... well in Al Bukhari's book there are many hadiths that are doubtable. For example one that said that a woman can't fast if her husband is in travel. That doesn't make much sense.

Either one can be grammatically correct. Summoner's Academy implies possession. Summoners Academy would imply the academy for summoners.

Likewise with Newcomers Inn - this doesn't have to be grammatically incorrect unless you want it to mean the inn that belongs to a newcomer (or newcomers).

E.g., the difference is the same as

Pink Pony's Inn
Pink Ponies Inn

Witches Academy
Witch's Academy

Not that I disagree with this, it makes perfect sense but how about the examples given by the Oxford Dictionary:

Plural nouns that end in –s

With a plural noun that already ends in -s: add an apostrophe after the s:

The mansion was converted into a girls’ school.

The work is due to start in two weeks’ time.

My duties included cleaning out the horses’ stables.

None of these examples indicate possession, the school doesn't belong to the girls, neither does the stable to the horses. Two weeks' time is the one that I find most awkward, shouldn't it be "two weeks time" just like in "five days long" etc.

maybe a bit deep or dark but I have recently had a communication from a bloke I met down the local protests, he insists he takes responsibility but is an unqualified dropout, very depressed and stuck in parents' basement with no prospect in life, basically he seems to only get comfort in his day messaging me his feelings by text lol

I had felt bad but ultimately I just message him to get a job and not cling and rely on me for mental health boost, I can afford to be tender and fool it with a great life but he has only state welfare and his video games, he must get out of his own hole cheers lol

back to the good folk of HC though, mate the apostrophe as used in Oxford is indeed accurate best practice because it's basically signifying "school for girls" or "stables of horses", while "Girls School" is just telegraphing that it's a school named Girls and "Girl's School" tends to suggest it's only one girl in question lol

as said the United States has developed an idiosyncracy with this and it has popped up in other territories by osmosis or misadventure so no disrespect for any who do it their own way, but that version given by me is the grammatically correct one according to the best academic sources worldwide lol

as for two weeks' time that's a contracted form of "the time of two weeks", saying "two weeks time" is troublesome in that it just leaves time hanging there as a loose end with no connective tissue, it is a bit of a stupid idiom technically because "time" is redundant anyway but if you go for it you need to specify that the time belongs to the weeks or else it means nothing lol

That is a sad case. People like that have trouble finding a way out of their confines and often enough they are resistant to change, despite knowing that their current situation sucks. If you can help him that's good but on the other hand there is only so much patience a guy can have.

when your economy was raped by corrupt swine and Merkelistan, and your country is one of the transit hubs for rapefugees, when the best past time is throwing molotovs at riot cops, but at least you have near mythic origins, so at least you got that going on, which is nice.
