Yes Frosty recalls correctly. The worst part is knowing Ubi they might not even have done it on purpose! I can tell you, when I met the Ubi dudes, they were persuaded they were heading the right direction with h6 and h7, no matter what I told them. Then we could see on twitch how Ubi devs played the game like 5 yo. So it doesn't seem far-fetched to me if they genuinely thought the original h3 sprites looked like this.

even though they did lie through the teeth a lot as well, they for sure lived in an Erwin bubble where delusions of being clever ran high lol

I would like to know if someone had already remade, "remastered" and integrated into the game sprites and icons of artifacts, creatures and map objects taken from the HD Edition.
I would be grateful to have them or a part of them.

Oh, there's some such mods, but after resizing to 800x600 (h3 resolution), final effect is rather not noticeable. Check Mythology mod, especially Fortress and Necropolis townscreen.
