Ok, I shared an article that should shed some light on both of you in the appropriate thread.

Some loosers downloaded pirated beta of Win10 and now are singing blasphemies.
Win10 fully makes what I need it to do. That's all I care. If some freaks wanna go Linux or non-supported Windows - it's their right.

People who write concise, precise and sourced articles backed up by solid facts aren't losers. People who try to dismiss something they don't like with a one-liner holding no water whatsoever are.

PS. Article was last updated on 24 May, 2017, that's like two weeks ago, what beta are you talking about.

Some trolls got paid for blaspheming Windows. Thats why they update their articles. Its a same case there, where some "users" praise hmm7. Its a propaganda and nothing else. I use Win10 everyday (and used it from community beta) and have nothing bad to say. It constantly improoves and some bugs are closed. Its not like hmm7 ended support or some linux red-eyed forum geeks "support" that ends after 1 year of release.

And this, Macron1, is offending. I use Linux, so I'm a freak based on your statement.

But I'm curious about your knowledge of theory of operating systems, or programming, or computer architecture? Because if you do know about that, I would very much like to hear you backing up your words about Linux users and Windows 10. However, if you do not know anything about things I mentioned, it would be wise to stop talking about operating systems and saying that Windows is good OS.

Windows is a monopoly and I dont see sense hating Linux. Thanks for Linux we have alternative and Windows dont costs eg. 2000$. Free work for others done by Linux community its only good. We should be grateful.

Here`s all about O.Ses other than Windows 10 @ version 10.0.

Linux is now at version 7.4 and, still, in Beta. Made by Red Hat-Enterprise. Here's its web link: Linux.org

On that same web page, there is a mention of Mangaka O.S.(64bit) and, is based on Ubuntu that, in which, is currently at version 14.04. Both Mangaka and Ubuntu are most in use by professionals in the Corporate and general business sectors, mainly industrial as it is mostly locked in for productivity purposes only.

There are no mentions about your average or, even your above average types of games that would be supported through these fan modification types of Operating Systems.

Still, Microsoft did have a Server Edition based O.S. ever since the year 2003(14 years ago). Now, Microsoft Windows Server 2016 is mainly the most used and preferred by several thousands of Home, small, medium and large businesses alike. Obviously, Server 2016 is a Windows 10 Pro Edition based O.S. that manages a local area networking environment(LAN).

Like it is mentioned in the above posts, Windows is a monopoly when it comes to Home and Gaming environments. Windows is fully established with well over 1 billion users across the known developed nations of this world. While the open source kinds(24+ of them) are only used by a few millions across the whole wide world(not even 1 single % of the overall daily users of all sorts of PCs(mobile and appliance types).

Happy reading this linked up web page that I just provided you all.

Why I cant say "Windows is a good OS", if I didn't mess with Linux? Lol. There is a flaw in logic.
You can't say "Linux is a good OS", if you didn't mess with Solaris/Colibri any other of red-eyed OSes.

PS I messed for several years with Alt Linux, Mandriva, Ubuntu, Debian, FYI.

Here's the real logical conclusion of it all.

Nothing is truly good world wide.

Everything is good to the one person that knows what it wants to use with the O.S. of its own choice.

Once the one O.S. chosen is fully satisfying to that specific person's preferences, then, satisfaction of using anything is really a no brainer.

The true question that should be asked by everybody towards itselves is this one: Do I know how to take care of my hardware's devices in order to give a longer life-span to such machine than the average user of such machine and, can I configure it to my own specific preferences so that my experiences using such machine will be something to remember it by?

Have you taken the time to ask this unforgiving question to yourselves, lately? Guessed out average answer: No. And I do not care but, should I?
Second answer: Yes, you really should(from me).

Please, read my post again:

theory of operating systems, or programming, or computer architecture

These are the things I asked, and these are the things that I consider somewhat prerequisites in talking about operating system. I never said that you must use Linux so you can judge windows. If you know the theory behind operating systems and computer architecture, you can say if OS is good or not. Objectively.

As for Solaris, it is Unix based system, so I know about it enough. The Colibri you mention is KolibriOS, I presume. If I recall it is tiny os, fork of MenuetOS and is only for x86 architecture. I belive it is under GPL license, which means that anyone can download it and change it.

What does this mean? You installed them and used few apps? You delved into their architecture, reconfigure their settings?

And one last thing, you were right when you sad that I can't say "Linux is a good OS". I agree. I can say that Linux is great OS

As my friend Verriker would say: lol.

P.S. I wont pursue this subject anymore in this thread as it is highly off-topic. I apologize for this.

Okay so after windowd update 2017-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4022725) the game works again.

EDIT: BTW, does anyone know similar games like Majestic series?

And the game is not SO useless after all.

The AI is very very retarded with the separated armies but if there are some good map makers..

I dont want to put low resources to the start, because it just makes the game longer.

Normally I just put 7 Heroic AI against me on the same team. Somehow they still dont cant make powerfull heroes..

If here are any HC-coders: is it hard to put hero-limit for the AI or something like that?

So the issue was Win10 after all.

Yep.

Funny part of Windows 10 is the enormous attention it gets for making new builds in a constant flow.

Cumulative update on the 2nd of June, then, a major update for it again just yesterday morning + another cumulative update just minutes after the major update of the month of June-2017.

So...yeah, you must make sure to constantly have to make windows update itself otherwise, it crashes on you without any warning what-so-ever.

I agree with Galaad that win10 is a great, no, a fantastic OS and I am glad his counseling has finally made you able to run your obsolete abandonware. Further more I find it amazing that you give a program that is now this old a chance.
