Buddy, you have no idea. I have 0 clue what the word 'boundaries' means.

Pretty sure my antics on and offline had landed me on at least the FBI watch list and 'deny entry at all costs' lists in several countries.

Degenerate cus he posted a screen of Sororitas with custom made army colors? It is our minds that play tricks on us.

If that's cleared then...

YES

Btw I rently noticed that Inquisition and Militarum Tempestus had their own codexes in 6th. What happened, too contoversial to the weak minded?

I want to see a custom chapter of them. Order of the Hallowed Pantsu.

Reason they discontinued those is simple - no takers. Tempestus is just acions + Taurox and inquisition is a soup army.

I even have a perfect setup for them: "Adeptus Sororitas discovered an artefact of old [unkown: probably of xenos origin???]. After much deliberation the item (code name: "Pan-tsu") was ordered for destruction yet its allure swayed a chapter of sisters. Now deemed heretics, they travel the galaxy to find the true meaning of "Pan-tsu" and its legacy..."

Yeah, probably.

Altough Inquisition at least seems to be a good candidate to expand upon. I mean, half of the most popular novella characters belong to Ordo something which belong to Inquisition... why not make a whole faction based on Ordo subdivisions?

meanwhile, in GW design studio...

There's little to expand in terms of actual 40k game regarding the inquisition, aside from the various henchemen. it's the ultimate soup army. so they at least need a proper rule set.

minor ordos would be fun, at least a proper "upgrade sprue" for conversions. like Pete the Wargamer did a while ago.

Manwhile GW will give you a free minature each month if you visit their retail stores. Maybe this would ease our everyday existentional problem of choosing between spending on plastic or booze huh kip? (even if the first freebie they hand out is some angry elven aelven b*tch)

Unfortunately both you and I don't exactly have it "around corner". I have an easier situation, but I despise Warsaw and it would be silly if I went there just to grab a minature I don't even need.

Wonder if any partner shops will give out those...

I gave it another thought on the playable inquisition as a whole.

At best, they would work in a skirmish type game, like Necromunda, with small warband types. esspecially if we are to explore all the Ordo Minoris and other crap.

Of which there are plenty, as pulled from the Lexicanum:

Ordo Aegis - Remains vigilant over the Cadian Gate.
Ordo Astartes - Oversees the Adeptus Astartes.
Ordo Astra - Studies astronomy and stellar information.
Ordo Barbarus - Monitors pre-Industrial worlds.
Ordo Chronos - A ill-fated organization, all the members of which vanished.
Ordo Custodum - Based on Terra.
Ordo Desolatus - Unknown purpose
Ordo Excorium - Monitors Exterminatus
Ordo Machinum - Oversees the Adeptus Mechanicus
Ordo Maledictum - Oversees issues relating to the Great Rift
Ordo Militarum - Oversees the Imperial Guard
Ordo Necros - Unknown purpose
Ordo Originatus - Tries to uncover the mystery of the Inquisition's origins.
Ordo Redactus - Tries to keep the history of the Inquisition classified.
Ordo Sanctorum - Oversees the Ecclesiarchy
Ordo Scriptorum - Monitors Imperial records and communiques.
Ordo Scriptus - Oversees Imperial historical records
Ordo Senatorum - Unknown purpose[
Ordo Sepulturum - Researches current plagues afflicting the Imperium and determines how best to contain, destroy, and cure them. Created to investigate an increase in outbreaks of the Zombie Plague just before the 13th Black Crusade.
Ordo Sicarius - Founded to police the activities of the Officio Assassinorum following the events of the Wars of Vindication which resulted from the events of Goge Vandire's Reign of Blood.
Ordo Thanatos - Unknown purpose
Ordo Vigilus - Oversees the Ordo Necros

Wow, there are quite o lot. I must say that I'm hearing a few names for the first time. Thanks kip!

Inquisition is interesting in a sense they quite literally symbolize the grimdarkness of W40k. Imo they should be more fleshed out.

In other news, they apparently are making Blood Bowl novellas it seems. Now I've seen everything...

Plus kip, you are probably gonna chase me down with a ietis, but instead of buying some W40k publications I bought this, because I needed to complete an order for a free delivery This will officialy be my first Warhammer novel

I prefer maces and warhammers to spears and javelins. better for wig splitting.

That aside, I've been looking at multiple AoS start collecting box sets myself.

I would probably choose between Seraphon or Slaves to Darkness sets as those are my two fav factions. Although Stormcast Vanguard is pretty neat also.

The old Seraphon box, that has the big dino, the cav and the warriors, was a pretty darn good "start collecting" box. Plenty of leezards to fight with and that you would actually use if you were going to build the typical army, unlike a few of the boxes. *Looks at Idoneth Deepkin in disappointment.*

Which ones were you looking to pick up there, Kipperstieny?

definitely not the ork one, because sadly it doesn't come with a proper "center piece" like many other box sets do.

Originally opted for the Mechanicus one of 40k, before they changed the Dune Crawler for the Higgins Boat.

Ogre one seems to be the least value for money, as it's only 5 models. and no way to make both the thundertusk and stonehorn without getting an extra sprue off scalperbay or other resellers.

Seraphon, Sylvaneth, and Kharadon overlords are on my mind right now.

What do you mean "old box"? It's still available everywhere, and you can even get a good price on it.

But value for money and "cool figures" are different things. Whereas Seraphon box hits the right spot, for instance if I wanted a cool-ass Fyreslayer Magmadroth I would need to buy it with a bunch of almost-nude samey midgets which is not my thing...

They made a skinks only box set too.

In it you get a skink priest, around 12 regular guys, three pterosaur riders and a bastiladon.

Ah ok, I remember this box now. Skinks are actually my least fav units from the faction. Plus AoS is missing Kroxigors (and Temple Guards?), I belive you can only get them as part of Forge World, which is a shame.

Btw, I wonder if they ever change Lizardmen to look more akin to those from TW: Warhammer games. I must say I prefer that design over this a bit caricatural (with overgrown heads etc) of the minis.

kroxigors are I think finecast minis, you can still get them on regular GW online store. 42,50 for three.

Also afaik there wasn't a large update on the range, as they still use the WHFB sculpts for majority of the lizardmen.

Ah yeah my mistake, there are actually warscrolls for both Kroxigors and Temple Guard in AoS.

Updating the line-up is a bit tricky though, you can't simply discard players existing collections, some kind of conversion is mandatory.

I'm currently playing through Dawn of War Soulstorm and Dawn of War II Retribution again.  I forgot how much I like those series.

I am sad that Dawn of War III changed things as much as it did.  While I appreciate motivation, I hate it when developers abandon what makes a series great.

With any luck, maybe the next in the series will go back to the Dark Crusade/Soulstorm mechanics.  Hell, I'd even be happy with II's mechanics.
