H7 was a knee jerk reaction to the unpopular parts of H6. The moment H6 direction was decided, that's when things started going downhill. Release was a mess, many fans lost trust, many resources were wasted, dev recycling begun, model/ability recycling followed suit and so on and so forth. During those two titles, only Limbic listened to the fans (in the few months that followed H6 release) and that was no doubt because they were unprepared and had little choice but to accept some help. And because of that mess, ubi didn't even bother keeping their promise about RMG and sim turns.
Sure, if H6 had gone better, H7 would have also received more care. Instead they decided to cut their losses and move on. But what were the odds that H6 would have been well received when Erwan didn't even know the series fanbase? He simply assumed that people would eat out of his hands because his vision has so good. And dark and edgy, as is the all the rage nowadays.

Actually me too. I thought these are screenshots from Era of Chaos but nope, Ubisoft has created third mobile game (Runeguard a.k.a Elemental Guardians being first).

They are making it to look like Idle Heroes, or feel like playing those Action-like RPGs, where battles are intense.
However, I just had to see that crooked noise and that destroyer-of-franchise-demeanor to cringe and change as fast as I could to another vídeo showing birds and flowers.

Honestly, I prefered Virtuos when they worked on the HOMM6 expansion, they should have done the original game as well, so it would have been just like in its present state and had more success and appreciation !
Virtuos is much like Cyberlore for HOMM2 expansion

You wouldn't say that if you saw their original plans for dungeon abilities and balance. They did not seen to have a shred of common sense. But at least they fixed most common bugs and the campaigns were not bad.

Anyways, graphics aren't even bad in detail (on the CGI parts), its the art direction which is terrible.
As for the paper cutout parts... well, H4 cinematic quality without the interesting storylines lol

Seriuosly, go f* yourself Ubisoft...
They didn't know what to do with the franchise so they made some tower defense like clone for Chinese market cause even a fart of a game makes $$$ in there as there are so many potential players to choose from.
