Hmm... where do you think the Isrealis got that land? From the Palestinians, so by your logic the Palestinians are the justified ones, they had first cause...unless you want to think the bible is the correct version of history.

As Cat said, one persons terrorist is another perons freedom fighter...u are talking about Izrael bellonging to the Izraeils??? NO!! The Izraelis came to the Palestinian state and clamed it on the base of it being Cannan(the promiss land) which 'bellonged' to them. They came and forced the Palestinians out! So the Palestinians are trying to Liberate their own land! The Izraelis have no right to that land and no right to call Arafat a terrorist...
About the British election...I'm with Cat(eventhought i'm not British)...LABOUR PARTY!!! LABOUR PARTY...if the Torys win(for example) the Goverment will be more up the ass of the Americans then they are now(no offence)...

Second - I just wanted to show you that there is an opposite side that looks equally right. Yes, Israelis took some Palestinian land (not all, because they bought major part of Palestinian land!). But, I ask you again - what could they do? They were born and raised there. They turned the desert into a garden (have you been in Israel?). Even if they are "occupators" where could they go? They have no other state. I think the best exit is civilised co-existing of both the nations. Turks were also once occupatros in our land, but now we don't kick them out of here. And we live together well - I feel happy there are so many different people in my state.
To repeat again - every point of view could be right. We can't say "Palestinians are the only guilty ones" or "Israelis are the only guilty ones" - they both have justiful cause and they both have more to do for peace.
And yet, blowing up innocent people in restaurants and at weddings is not quite the civilised thing to do for liberation.

terrorist bastards like pkk and dhkp-c are illegal now in europe... why europe waited to finish their legality for 20 years and if europe thinks they are right why ec banned them now? im afraid democracy works only for interests... i cant understand why europe community feared of these terrorists... nationalism , racism and political strategies of some modern countries doesnt work... we need honest politicians thats for sure... romana for president
and about middleeast problem .... palestinians sold their land and now they want back with terror acts unacceptable.. if a war start versus israel in middleeast im glad that turkish army will be on israel side... the war is terrible but if its necessary it must be done

with tanks and helicopters makes it civilised and so much more justified.
And after all you can use the excuse of "terroristhunt" for anything...
EU has real problems and after all it's just like small kids in playground trying to cover as much the sandbox as possible...
Personally I think terrorism is just new way of war and I think it's as right and civilized as any other form of warfare...let's say clusterbombing.
I fear Oldtimer is right (Although Snogard got him off guard which is kinda funny )

I'm sorry but you are wrong. No Izraelis have been razed in Izrael before the invasion unless you go back thousands of years! Think of it...I could go somewhere and say since my greatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreatgrandfather lived there it is my property. Izraelis don't belong in Izrael. That land should be governed and owned by the Palestinians

I don't think there is such thing as "civilised" war.
And about terorism... I hope you are just joking.
Imagine somebody kills all your family on the street, protesting that your country doesn't buy his country's cheese! This is terorism - murdering people that don't even know why are they murdered.

You seem to missed by point Ogneslav...
I don't believe that something is "civilized" and something is "barbaric". Those are just words for something that we judge.
I just said that terrorism is as civilized as war in overall. Killing "innocent" people is always something to be judged but war has changed from those days when two armies meet in the field of "glory" and try to take each other out.
Of course there have been always civilian victims in wars with one way or another. However the war has become closer to "common folk" and it's not just in the front where soldiers meet each other. I believe that's what US people felt during 911. Like war terrorism is continuation of one's politics. However I think the attack to WTC was more like international crime as people where killed there have nothing do with USA politics. People were just puppets thrown into fire and in the end we don't know the reasoning behind thought of Osama Bin Laden.
What I see is that people try to approve their way of war, saying it's "civilized" and there is some kind of way of having "clean" war. People say they just attack militarian targets and civilians are just necessary victims and not primary targets. Yeah, right. That is just one big bull. Whatever the reason, there are people dying.
Terror is in both side of fences and so is terrorism.
And I don't simply approve anyone killing my family whatever the reason would be.

I agree
with Subzero's sentiment- war is always a continuation of politics which is basically about getting what you want.
It doesn't matter how many people die because they eitehr become, "the enemy" or since they live with and support the enemy they are less than human. It happens in every confrontation eventually... someone not involved in the disagreement is killed because they were in wrong place at the wrong time.

Well about the Israeli. They do act like nazis in WW2. They gather everybody to the townsquare and then start bombing. Thats NOT Civilized. Nazis acted in WW2 almost the same. Then Israeli prime minister says that everybody who are against this war (who are thinking that Israeli are violent) are antisemits. Imagine poor Arabs, when Israeli tanks just demolish there homes and for what? A person without home? What is the blame of the Arabs?

i can imagine the same poor arabs(palestinians) dancing on the streets when they heard that twin towers are destroyed.. open your eyes yesterday to my country today to usa and maybe tomorrow to your country...

it does not make much difference who you vote for labour is just as lazy and talk just as much crap as the conservatives. Up here lib dems lie to get in to semi-power then do what ever they are told. Green party as you say is useless vote. SO thats why i go for SNP, there at least making a difference and trying to change things.
