Mirage, great you figured it out. You should share those AND your hero portraits


Baronus, if you have the time, you could help with adding new landscape objects (from combat objects). I can import the images as h4d files for you, then you'd just have to hex edit them to replace the images. That would be very helpful. Radmutant and I are already mirroring the dwellings and more.

I didn't make anything like that. It must be Mirage's stuff so you can give him your thumbs up. Also this is the answer to your question. He probably figured out.

@mirage: congrats and whatever for make this Halloween decor stuff. But I think our cooperative work will be much more successful if you do your work instead of randomly sharing what you just find in my folders. Got it too?

and why is the mirrored magic school in the fail folder? that works afaik.
and why didnt you tell nimostar you tried his idea about water entrances and that dont works?
and why did you create ugly objects like the white garrison then you store them in the unused folder when you have better images?
and why did you make working h3 lich dwelling in town and on map and store them in the said stupid unused folder and you use vampire dwellings instead??? thats stupid.
and i have so many many interesting questions but just 'snow you' if you know what i mean

i did but thank you. i always have questions ofc. for example i cant take the small pumpkins close to the edge of the map. why? all others work fine but those dont. can you fix that?

1. That magic university has bad entrance/passability data. It works indeed but you can pass through the half of the building because I could not move its entrance to the right place so I will have to move the image instead when I'll make it again.

2. Did he ask it? I just played a lot with object entrances after Karmakeld asked about mirroring the Hexis Castle's entrance. Because why not?

3. Those unused objects are the very first objects I made after the breakthrough and they are mostly experimental things you know. I had to practice somehow.

4. The Lich dwelling is not really working in town. It needs a fake static 'animation' file too or it will immediately changing to be a Spawning Pit anyway. This is why I didn't packed it yet.

5. More questions OMG

About your pumpkins:

2. It looks like you used the good old snake skeleton method for some reason to create those but you added a very big image into that small skeleton. I did it too sometimes and I can tell you fixing it is very simple: just make your image much smaller and add it again.

mirage, another thing you should be aware of, is that certain objects like the snake skeleton will ALWAYS be placed behind other objects. Just play around with different types of objects. Also when hovering the mouse over your new objects, they will display as the type you inserted them into. Like rock, tree, bones etc. What you can do, if you just want a 'blank' object, is to change it's main type to 'nothing'. Extract the adventure Mire spell object and use it's type code. I also see that you're struck by the centered image issue

Yes I cant use tool but I try build new resources using method I descripted. But I mod not only HIV so its not so fast work as you. But I find time and willignes and when I will finished it I tell and give for all.

yeah i know the nothing type already since the ghost fences i made are nothings too. i just didnt think its a problem. and i tried inserting the pumpkin images into several objects but always crashed the editor. thats why i finally inserted into the skeleton when i got bored.
now here is a halloween decor fixed file with nothing types and better small pumpkins. and i cant do anything about centering cause i deleted the ora pictures i used and dont wanna make them from scratch again.
