The estate specialist is not available so far, from what I remember only through editor manipulations./

Income is too small if town gives 4.000 what is 350?If you have some towns 10.000 and 350... Better is powerfull skill eg elemental magic logistics if its big map or 30% to offense. etc. But for second hero only to exploration its good.

An Estate specialist will equal a Gold Mine around level 20, if I recall the calculations correctly. They may start off at less than the static +350 gold, but in the end, they will take over by a large margin. Depends on game length.

It used to be difficult to make Lord Haart appear in a game, but nowadays it's very simple.

Maybe I didn't understand correctly but... Unless you're playing WoG, editing hero specialties requires some hex editing and data modification.

yea,

I actually make him available in my game.

in wog, you cud just paste some very simple erm coding and specialty will be changed.

I found it in this link on how to change jeddite from builder back to resurruction specialty and followed the example http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=13495

Estate specialty is to me utterly useless.

Why?

Because, who will level such a hero so much (considering he comes with the noncombat skill States, which will forever gimp their usefulness development) just to et a miserable income increase?

+350 heroes are secondary heroes, they will regain their original price in like a week, and will come with useful skills (instead of States taking one slot), plus they can be Magic heroes and thus good for creeping and utility at low level.

Estate especialist without training needs almost a month to regain its own price.

Well, he lately added that is for wog, or in wog estates comes with 2 options, give resources and mithril daily, so is very handful now. Anyway there is a great SoD map HERE, where the author had fun with events chain, thus you get attacked day 3 by a level 6000 estates specialist, then if you kill him, he is available in tavern. He will produce about 200k gold daily, yet I wasn't capable to win that map, too hard.

Is this from the perspective of single or multiplayer?

I think its not too big of a deal to have estate hero. I usually am only able to build any units is in week 3 or something. (I usually start with 0 gold difficulty), So I would barely have only 1 main hero.

Estate main hero, would insure I can build my town faster and then secondary heroes earlier than say crag hack.

at least estate is useful in someways. better than many other specialties. not all heroes have offence, amorer, logistics, or resistance specialties. inferno and conflux do not have any of these specialties.

I guess you can both, but maybe there are more ppl playing single player than multi; or at least, thats my impression.

Doesn't matter, still +350 gold specialty is better on this scenario as starting hero... doesn't have to upgrade skills to get money, has full money from start, and comes with more useful skills.

So unless the Estates hero has another, better specialty and is just there to get expert states quick...
Cuthbert, Erdamon and Thunar are possible for this (the last two are identical, sadly, another sign NWC rushed Conflux dvelopment)

ok,

I just tested it.

Estate specialist is way way better than 350.

You get + Crystals every week.

Think of it this way, when having multiple towns, you cant support all of them. You will have to make some towns support the other main towns. Estate specialist can support himself by himself, giving you huge increase in army and you can have 2 main towns or so. I am currently lvl 18 and I take about 750 gold per day. thats in addition to the other 3 resources every week. It can also give me the momentum I need early game. I would take him over crag hack any day (cuz I only play on 0 starting gold)

Sure if you start with pawn = 30k gold, then estate specialist is bad lol.
