Well it's going to take some elbow grease but i'm slowly fixing the key frames by hand for the wonky arm. It's slowing me down a lot but it can't be helped, it's a quirk of the m3 importer plugin i suppose.

I've quickly looked at the file, but with imports from another format it's very often problem when something imports wrong. It's hard to say what exactly the trouble is, maybe it's wrong bone rolls, maybe it's exactly keyframes imports wrong.
My advice to just remove all the keys from this problem bones and remake this animations by hand. Or maybe even make some simple IK rig to do it easier.

In exactly this case you can also make the bones symmetrical (Name right and left bones with same name with suffixes _R _L, Turn on the symmetry, remove all keys from trouble bones, select all needed bones from normal arm and copy-paste all the keyframes from left to right Ctrl_C Ctrl-Shift-V) But yes, it's a bit complicated and needs some understanding of how the things work.

Thanks for looking, it seems to happen only to certain models, i'm just about done fixing the frames on all of the animations, thanks for the idea of mirroring the animations from the other bone.

I think being 3D zerg will look better on H4 or H5

H3 creatures are not animated when idle.

Maybe, yet I have not seen it with any default creature, not even flying ones.

Anyways, the style of Zerg graphics (of any of the two starcraft) does not fit H3 top-down pictoric pixel art, but does fit 3D/isometric games (since it was made for those).

i have some zerg stuff that'll be used for alien atmosphere; it really depends on a): how you implement the graphic, and b): how good your photoshop skills are(if you don't work with 3d); depending on the angle of the graphic you're using. anything can be added and look good, with enough work. the starting graphics are key, though. if the textures are wrong, it's going to be much more difficult.


@ zeryss: how did you make the base of the town? the tentacles are cool.

Town screen is very good. But on right side I see problem. Buildings are like copy pasted? Contrast must be similiar. Buildings are too dark or ground is too bright. You must choice one of this 2 options. Left side is ok.

oh, i had thought you were using starcraft 2 graphics(i should have thought of that; i've been checking all the stuff i found on starcraft 2 instead of 1). thanks. i found the original graphics on the spriters-resource website.
