Are we know how to edit difficulty settings? I am bored to put creatures manually and creating events about money.
It would be amazing to edit one of the difficulty settings.
Don't worry i am not going to challenge you with my mod  (besides nobody cares as you can see here http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=44183&pagenumber=1)
All i need to making my heroes 4 mod just play with my friend.
I will be happy if someone can teach me how to edit "anything" in the exe.
Edit: As you can imagine, my friend one of these guys "i don't want to play on new and different game" so i cannot persuaded him for none of the mods (even the equilibris) and i just need to learn adjust stats of artifacts and difficulty.

The music pack has been released in a permanent link.
This music can also be used with the normal H4/Equilibris by just editing the file name.
Also remember some of the non-town music even in the original HOMMIV was stolen from a celtic music comilation :V
This allows for a better musical experience overall...

Which one? Also are you sure the music isn't public domain?
Can you upload some of your scores to Youtube to back up your claim of "better musical experience"?

We don't have the resources to know if they were or not public domain.
As to know, you CAN download it for free and try it... it's not like you have to buy it. If you don't like it just rename/delete the file.
Uploading it to youtube would be redundant since most of the musics I gathered are already there and free for use.

Well I coudn't make the new town screens due to errors in tools, but at least I can still make new map towns!
This will help differentiate between vainilla and new towns by giving them a fresh, unique look and feel.

Hi NimoStar,
Would you know how to add viewing range to buildings like towns and mines. I loved the graphics in H4 but it's ruined for me with fog of war and I get tired of sending out 1 man armies to give a tiny bit more view range to mines.
Thanks to your greatest mod I finally figured out how to change bersercker's being uncontrollable.

Also looking for a way to change back Stealth the way it was in vanilla when using Equilibris. They raised it so it takes more stealth to sneak past enemies and steal resources / tag mines. It's pretty frustrating and useless to try to go that route.

1- We don't know yet how to extend visibility range. However I think some modders were able to delete fog of war completely in other games, by deleting the images used. Perhaps you can look for this resource (should be a half transparency black patch) and delete it for your game.
2- Don't know, but you can use for your mod regular exe rather than equilibris exe. As for my own mod, you can look at Equilibris exe and DLL and search for the changed parts with hex compare to the regular one. If you find the changed code, please report it back. Alternatively, you can ask in the Equiibris forums.

Depends on your tastes. But it has above 9 score on moddb so I would believe people think so.
Some things are unfinished though and I still have to work on next version. Thing is, I don't have a stable internet connection so it will still have to wait.
I want to release next version before retiring from h4 modding. So it will be special and unlike any other previous one.
WOuld also appreciate feedback regarding mod balance. Other than new Inferno being OP, I don't have much clue if the rest is OK.

Well, there is still a lot for that version... remake town screens like I did with the ocean one, for example.
I also really wanted to do an "h4 with h3 map graphics and interface", and with the previous knowledge people here helped it was already possible, but the hard work coupled with my bad health and living standards don't allow a hint of progress, so my ambitions before retiring will have to be cut back.
In fact, even though people helped me get the H4 developer data to ask them for the source code, I have been unable to and the obsolete software of HC deletes the inbox messages with the data...

I have a dumb question: This mod is supposed to go in the data folder right? That's where I put the file but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

No it's a seperate exe file, meaning you should install and run it as a seperate game. There may be files that run from the Data folder, but there should be a Read Me file included which informs about how to run it.
Or read NimoStar's description on the
first post

I don't think a readme file came with the download... just the .rar. I don't know what you mean by install it as its own game I'm sorry I'm not great with computers haha.

Just unpack the rar. I haven't downloaded this myself, so this is based on assumptions and my knowledge of how it works. But inside the rar file, should be a Data folder, which should be added the original Data folder. The you should have a Greatest Mod.exe file which launches the game. Perhaps you can post a screenshot? Otherwise i'll have to download it later myself
