Actually, what the desc says is that you have 2 heroes per faction is campaign mod, it's different for skirmish.

I agree that having a different number of heroes per faction is not an ideal situation, I just did what was requested by the community since I have received a lot of feedback that this should be done (I don't fancy it, either, but I don't know how to do it to satisfy everyone.)

You can use the way to get rid of the changes if you wish so.

I will check all the problems you mention, thanks for reports

Let me know if the problems keep occurring.

Most likely, it's that something else blocks it - but I can be wrong of course.

ive tested opert. retalation on a map with only Guardians protecting each other and it didnt proc once the whole fight so i dont think something else is the cause, ill try to look at the skill as well but i dont have high hopes i can fix it

ive enabled the buff Tooltip of the skill again, oppertunity retalation only has 2 archetypes but they are very complex and im not very skilled with retalation skills yet, ive tried a map with only Guardians again Fighting a stack of striders, he gets the debuff the whole time spamed after every Actions, also only "defend" when they are close to him but there are no attacks, wasnt it so that the buff applied to ure own Units? i guess u changed it so that it aplies on the enemy now?

@ and blessed arrows sometimes reduces the defense of Units to 0 for everyone for the whole Combat turn, when next Combat turns starts it works as usual again, Maybe related to many morale procs?

if u defend on a morale proc f.e, the reduction will work for everyone afterwards

@ it doesnt happen a lot but sometimes shielding is still on while that is not possible, it probaly doesnt wear off for some reason

btw nevermind about shadowarmor, i guess it works, i missed a file i think

Test of french translation is nearly done.

I find something weird with stronghold creature: royal behemoth.
Its special leaping capacity count allies as obstacle for movement. I assumed the creature could jump over other creatures, specially allies. It is visible on very big maps, like on the tower against elementals.
Other thing I find weird is that I am forced to jump near an enemy (or an ally), I can't jump where there are no creature at all.

Just checked today and you're right with Opportunity retaliation, no idea why this damned skill doesn't work again! I'll try to figure it out.

I will check the Blessed Arrows as well but I'd to know more about the specific cases when Shielding doesn't work.

Good news, I agree that this jump is a bit weird but compared to other issues, it's not on my priority list.

Bugs:
1. Chthonian ability "Solid like a stone" doesn't proc from ballista shot.
2. Hero ability "Archery" doesn't work. I skilled it, but my Hunters was still half-ranged.

P.S. How do you think, maybe the minor, but more often patches will be the better strategy than super-rare major updates?

I will check the Chthonian.

Archery is not supposed to provide full range but only buff ranged attack (this change has been made in one of the earliest official patches).

More common updates would be certainly appreciated by the community but it is not possible. It would mean much more work for translators (you see, even most of the 1.1 translations haven't been done yet) plus it would mean much more work for me with uploading, updating the info everywhere etc.

Furthermore, I don't have time to work on the mod these weeks/months, so there's not much to share since 1.1.

The text does not match exactly the behaviour, because it also protects from melee attack. In my french translation, I will just remove the first sentence.

Test of Red dragon:
- Flamestorm doesn't work on first combat turn. It shows damage animation but enemies still have all their HP. It works as intended on next turns.

- There is a weird buff and a weird tooltip when a creature is in flames:


Test of Imperial griffin
When using Diving Attack, Imperial griffin doesn't wait its next turn to land. It immediatly land. Should I change the translation to follow that?

Living Shelter: The ability does both, it's two unrelated effects in fact: provides cover AND redirects damage.

Flamestorm will be probably replaced in the future update since this ability is quite dubious.

Yes, Diving Attack has been changed to land immediately, I thought that the ability desc has been updated as well.

English Steam version description (UCP 1.1):

As far as I remember, UCP hasn't touched this skill at all. Furthermore, I have no problems with those descriptions.

I assume your game or mod installation may be wrong.

there is a very strange bug with shielding, sometimes dead legionnaires give the shilding buff and if the allied creature doesnt move it may become untargetable as well, ive seen odd Bugs like shilding still working even the legionnaire is dead, makes it very hard to finish the fight sometimes

For Diving I have checked english translation and it is correct. My bad I used the old translation sorry.

I have put MMH7Game.FRA because short range and long range translation was messed up. You can search for UCP in the file to see it.
Originally, translation was: "portée courte" and "portée longue".
But in game you can only see "portée ..." for both. So I changed the translation to "courte portée" and "longue portée", so that in game you can see: "courte ..." and "longue ...".

I am glad to contribute to such a good mod and I thank you for that

hey, just wanted to say barbarian Anger seems to work fine, not sure why it didnt work for me first time i tried >.> really nice work on some new skills and ive also reverted back to the last oppertunity retalation Version, thats the only one that works usually

I will certainly take a look as soon as I have time but without an exact description of the situation, the chances of reproducing it are quite low.

As regards the Opportunity Retaliation, it used to work in several previous internal versions as well, without being changed, it does not work any more. Truly confusing and annoying, this ability makes me mad again.

UCP is not compatible with AC mod since AC is not compatible with the latest game version and still waits for its updated release (if it comes at all).
