Mark Hamill's best performance ever is the Joker.

Agreed. Although I love him as Luke Skywalker, his voice for the Joker is the greatest.

Mark is talented in my ways. Have wondered why haven't they used his skills more. Maybe it was curse and blessing at same time. Like the starring actor in Clockwork Orange, Malcolm Mcdowell where he was all those decades? Hope Mark Hamill get's some good acting roles in the future, Last Jedi showed he can still act.

I also think he should have had more roles. But being famous for playing Luke Skywalker and the Joker is still being awesome in my book. He also seems to be a pretty decent guy for a famous person.

I refuse to believe that hes gone. My theory is he just teleported to somewhere else and left his robe behind. He teleported to a nudist colony, thats what Im hoping.

Gotta love this guy ^^

It is a shame what they did to Star Wars legacy with new 'movie'. Especially to the Luke Skywalker character. I was so angry with the direction and plain stupidness of the movie, my gf was trying to calm me down for hours...

Mark Hamill is, to me, a great guy overall, and his Joker voice acting is beyond perfect.

He wasn't Luke. He was acting so far out of character (the character, not the actor, Hamill was awesome) that he stepped into a whole different character.

Short answer: It was completely new character with name Luke. His character development was ignored, and that is just bad writing (although, EP7 was a hint that this would happen).

i've been a fan of hammil(and star wars) ever since i was a kid. i had luke and chewbacca action figures to play with growing up, alongside my superman/flash/etc toys. i used to pretend chewbacca was a werewolf(since i didn't have a werewolf action figure); and it worked, mostly because chewbacca resembled the werewolf played by michael j. fox in "teen wolf".

as for hammil's voice acting, it's tops. it's impressive, to me, how anyone can change their voice so drastically. i'm a HUGE fan of hammil's joker voice acting. imo, he is the best vocal joker there could ever be. he's one of the only famous people i'd like to meet irl; he really seems to be a decent human being.

also, loved him in space ghost, coast to coast. (space ghost was pissed because zorak and moltar had gone to comic-con without him, and met hammil; then invited him on the show even though someone else was supposed to be on. the original guests were "detained on the planet rumyumyumsunsun". it's easily apparent that both zorak and moltar were u-p-f's, lol)
