Sorry I didn't notice it sooner, but shouldn't Pygmies be comparable in size to dwarves? Right now they seem kinda big.

In game they are same size than gremlim; little bit smaller than sprite; But yoi right, they are bigger than dwarfs.

I tried resize to same size, but dwarves are wider. Then the pygmies appeared too much squishy. But, finishing all animation im gonna post here the size versio too ask opinions.

What about color @fred79 ? A little better ?

the color on the standard looks great. but the upgrade is too bright(also, it looks like there's an error in the coloring; it flashes darker bluish during one or two frames). the kilt is fine, but the skin with the white hair is too bright, imo. i'd darken it somewhat. i know you want two different shades for the two creatures tho; so maybe a slightly different darkened color to compensate?

I'd probably go for the size 30 or 31 versions. They're tier 1 creatures, they're supposed to be squishy .

i think it's funny how hobbits are larger than dwarves, and also proportionately larger than pikemen. whoever said anything is to scale in this game hasn't actually taken a good look at this game.

Already did all animations, maybe tomorrow i release the update with a few changes

Yeah, i left out. Tried some weapons: sword, dagger, club, maul, but dont liked the final result. Thats my first modelo ever, so im gonna stay simple

I imagined my pygmies as tough little guys Could be a headbutt for sure.

Released today .95 version with the new pygmies and a few fixes. Last week i was thinking about the lineup converging to that:


Of course its just a superficial analysis, but helps to focus

Gonna focus now on create the level 2 creature. For now Im between this two ideas:

Left: Something like a hunter half-animal archer (maybe a satyr foot instead)
Right: A heavy forest protector

Hi Fiorin,

Very impressive as for your first unit. Finally someone who actually started learning 3D for his own project. Ah, that brings memories to my beginnings in H3 modding scene.

MDT has discussed internally and we will provide you some help as it looks promising. There are some problems with perspective so you can as well use our scene, color palette will also have to be toned down.

Btw I still remember about heroes I was supposed to lend you a hand with. This nasty HC Messenger is deleting messages, can you send it to me again? I will save it on my desktop this time.
