i like both of these. 
for some reason, the new one makes me think of the old testament of the bible, and the old one makes me think of the new testament. the vibes seem to directly correlate with the overall god-themes. except for "revelations"(because revelations is more old-testament feel), of course.

I haven't thought about it like that before but I think it makes sense and suits them nicely.

Ironically (?) it was intended as an ironical version of the original argentinian anthemn, but since both speak about liberty and freedom (original from a liberal "french revolution" start of XIX century standpoint, second from an anarchist-socialist end of XIX century standpoint) they sound more complimentary than adversarial.
Original version (Adbridged, the parts about defeating the Spanish got cut out because they were "offesive" to Spain. So much for national pride for your own war of liberation; basically by cutting the national anthemn we apologize to our centuries-long oppressors for being rude to them in a song :V)

The anarchist version is significantly longer and less redundant because it is based on the unadbridged version.
You can use google translator, it will be accurate enough to understand as the lyrics are simple and straightforward.

The music is quite nice, it contrasts slow and melancholic parts with the warlike and strendous parts.
I don't like musically some other anthems as the US one. Like their flag of strident colors, they don't understand subdued moderation or solemn pride. In any case I think theyr true national anthemn is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhnUgAaea4M
Musically for example the USSR one is nice. The music is better if you don't understand the lyrics even, which although not the worse, they are not up to par with the epicness of the sonority.

Ours sounds both epic and sad, it reminds me of the end of some grand battle. The text (deliberately omitted) is hard to translate and still convey the same feeling but it's mostly about the natural beauty of the country - nothing special on its own but combined with the melody it can be really inspiring.

Brazilian anthem is quite optimistic, fast-paced, punctuated by unused words 90% the population know not the meaning and something like 50% know not how to sing it entirely, poetry-feeling, with as many truths as it has lies and wishes of what has been and what will never be, similar to our national flag writting. Given most of the population will never care for interpretation of the the anthem, I would not mind if they simply 'updated' it to a less formal tone or cut the crap in most of it, to make it a little more direct and possible for the population to at least learn the lyrics properly, because the way it's written, it's like it's a colonial-time Yoda's composition.
You can listen to it HERE. It has subtitles in English, however, not very accurate every now and then given the interpretation problem. The very beginning is already wrong, but I'll not elaborate errors because ... who the f* cares?
