Heroes 7 Multiplayer?

Hi guys, I have been playing Heroes 3 for more than a decade now. Recently me and my brother played some multiplayer games, but after so many years it gets kind of repetitive. Would you recommend buying Heroes 7 with the intention to only play 1v1 online battles with my brother? I can accept some minor bugs and Ashan, but apart from that - is it stable enough?

Try some HoMM 5, HoMM 5.5 or Elvin's H5 Duel map. I guarantee they will be more fun.

As for stability, there were some issues if I recall (there was a memory leak, and I'm not 100% certain it was fixed), but honestly it is a dead game. On Ubi's shop it is currently on sale for 11 euros.

My recommendation would be Magnomagus' Might and Magic: Heroes 5.5 mod for H5. I hope someone who owns H7 will tell you about any technical issues.

Thanks guys, will check it out. I remember trying H5 a couple of years ago and what I did not like about it was the adventure map. It's not well done and you have to twist the camera all the time. I get really confused, because of this and also miss a lot of treasure chests, resources, etc.

There's also a 'classic HoMM view' option with a fixed camera.

heroes 7 MP is not stable, i cant recommand it, beside that, u can Play it well in SP or hotseat....

Hello guys.
I tried for the first time this week to do a MP game online. We both both had Antalyan's UCP patch installed and :

Creating the game (works fine)
_ no problem when creating the game.
_ we played in sim turns and it was great for the longest time.

When reloading (problems wich can be dealt with) :
_ the host has to systematically kick the other player once. Only when the player joined for a second time was he able to set himself as "ready".

Desync (consequences?):
_ it happened at some point in the middle of the second month in a zone with many big fights underground and many artifacts. Not sure what triggered it exactly. Still we could still play after that.

Simultaneous turn (problematic feature):
_While great it is problematic that they don't stop when the players are in the same zone. Especially for fights (one can say retreat to avoid a fight completely against another player).

Fight: critical issues
_ the first MP fight crashed during an animation (morale). Maybe solved by https://steamcommunity.com/app/321960/discussions/0/366298942110636690/
_ Different values for heroes initiative: it was possibly due to the desync or to some artifacts not taken into account.

Below are the two views at the same moment (last turn we could play, at that turn we could not play anymore)

Here is the orc's view for whom the harpies already played and many more troops will play after the vampire but before the other units (several artefacts increasing initiative)

Here it is the undead's player view. For him his units would play much sooner (his vampires already acted and he is waiting for the harpies).

Since it is like the one big battle of the game we would really have wanted to play it but we were not able to. Does anyone has any idea/ faced the same problem before?

only devs could fix it, MP is buggy, ive seen some People having longer Matches they were able to finish tough, Maybe Connection Plays a big role as well
