Stoic... What are we here, Buddhists! Bootlegger seemed tempting though, but I’ll still go Bohemian since old habits die hard.

Samurai will be charming to some. Just keep in mind that you’ll be serving a pompous lord all the time and those cool sword moves will be moments which are like 0.00000001 percent of your life.

There is a specific name in French for a wealthy/aristocratic Bohemian but it escapes me. I'm sure Galaad doesnt know it: he is a noob Frenchman. Can't say that writing poetry and painting while in poverty is too appealing but the company is no doubt much better than working on a dock or in a mill. F that.

Most Bohemians in America also happened to be bootleggers. Cant imagine why

Haute Boheme, one of the words I always have to google a few weeks later no matter how many times I learn. I guess, my mind can’t cope with the fact that “haute” is French and not German.

And when thinking about having no money, I always remember in my early twenties, when a bunch of guys were staying at my place and we were having a mini chess tourrnement for the last cigarette. So much fun... It wasnt actual poverty, of course, the desperate kind I mean. If I needed an expensive surgery or something, my parents would have stepped in, in a matter of seconds. But the everyday routine didnt feel like poverty at all anyway, we used to walk everywhere, drink wine in parks, we had a few Rock/Blues bars where there was always good company and “where everybody knows your name.” To me, it was so much better then going to the latest night-club in an expensive car and numbing my brain out under some techno. Nobody had much money in their pockets, and some of the dudes were family poor, too. But we didnt need to spend much to enjoy life, and people were full of fresh ideas, dreams, projects...

It doesn't run on for 18 syllables so it can't be German, but yeah, there is definitely a linguistic crossover.

My mind constantly blends Spanish and Italian into Spantalien. Too many similarities.

Cigarettes are highly expensive in the long term but otherwise the best things in life are either free or cheap. A book and a bottomless cup of tea.

Mercenary life ofc. Freedom, companionship, solitude, get to fight for as many 'causes' that you want, but always your own, can twist and change as you wish, and live and die on your own terms, important, but insignificant at the same time.

Just kidding, Catamite for me, no greater glory for a youngun than being able to please the older generation.

This poll lacks the Crusader lifestyle, 0/10.

Luckily, as an honorary weeb I can still fall back on the samurai, which is the third best way of life.

Imagine running around on horseback, following your damiyo to tatakai against an honorabru opponento, then bringing back the heado of the shindeiru to prove boku no worth.
Then returning to continue your honorabru life of training waiting for another battle.

I couldn't even fall back to farmer, staying with your family in a house far from the city, tending the cows and caring after the crops, that sounds so romantic.

Blizz I guess you're looking for "Bobo" term. It's contraction of "bourgeois" and "bohème", usually pejorative.

No "Galaad" option on the poll, talk about being a noob.

A crusader is just a troubadour who uses a broadsword instead of a lute, and conquers Jerusalem instead of the vassal's wife.

"Jerusalem" was also a popular girl's name in medieval France so maybe you could conquer Jerusalem while you conquer Jerusalem.

I only had ten options. Give me a break.

No, what he described is the Haute Boheme and according to The Urban Dictionary, a Bobo is “a Korean dude who muds like a maniac and farts uncontrollably.” Now, that is the superior life!

You get used to the smell of cow dung, you find it so pungent only because you're a city boy!

If only I didn't have other responsibilities I'd go own a farm, get a wholesome lady and have 9 or more children. Just like nature intended.

If there is such a thing, nature intended you to be a hunter-gatherer, not a farmer. The early farmers had a miserable life compared to hunter-gatherers. They were able to reproduce more, occasionally, yes, but they suffered back pains, they ate the same crop bread every friggin’ day, they suffered disease from domesticated animals (that’s why when Europans landed on the Americas, half of the natives dropped dead like flies, they havent been with such animals and their ancestors werent the immune survivors,) they suffered droughts... And why do you think you want to go on a crusade, you peasant, your reptilian complex still misses the adrenaline rush of a mammoth hunt.

As a vegetarian, I would protest participating in a mammoth hunt through nonviolent civil disobedience to the clan cheftain and set up a committee to lobby for the constitutional rights of clan members with alternative lifestyles.

I am curious, are vegans opposed to gulping down semen? Cause a hunter gatherer could by rights gather and build proteins from meat, and the gentle vegan can swallow his seeds in turn. But the vegan would still be part of a food cycle that down the line consumed meat, is this bad?

Kinda like asking if it is alright in the eyes of a vegan to eat a venus flytrap.

If you think in terms of food cycles, not just Venus Flytraps but most plants consume meat since when organisms rot underground they simply become fertilizer. That is also true when a predator dumps in the ground, his prey is now plant food.

Carnivorous plants actually eat meat, hence why theyre labeled as carnivorous plants. The molecules that once composed meat are absorbed through roots just like any other biomatter, but it has been broken down and no longer has the same structure or properties; that would analogous to saying it is allegedly raining urine since the molecules from the raindrops have passed through millions of different animal bladders over the course of the eons. Meat is meat. Residue is residue. Fertilizer is fertilizer.

Yes, but then, semen is semen and a venus flytrap is a vegtable. What I mean is, if you go down that road, where does it end.

When did Artu become Aculias?

That was my point too, where are the lines getting drawn, but I gotta agree with Blizz there are points where the molecule's history becomes irrelevant, or even distracting, kinda like evaporating the water from your piss then collecting all the vapors into another container and allow condensation to do its magic.

You essentially have pure h20, Sure that was piss once, but depending on who we're talking about they may not appreciate it or hell maybe not even tolerate the additional information. It's just a pointless distraction to them since there's no real link between the old and the new (piss then water).

My inquiry was not so, since it's still withing the current cycle of things, is it alright for a Blizz style vegetarian to eat the milk of a man that's laden with nutrients, if those nutrients prior came from meat (the links are close and relevant enough and the inquiry genuine imho).

So I just moved one up on the food chain that's all.
