Plot twist, after 5 stars and Lega actually managed to agree on a government, and after getting a possible prime minister that seemed to be appreciated by both sides and public opinion our president just revoked the mandate and decided to go by his own volition.

The reason? The cabinet was supposed to include Paolo Savona as finance minister, this guy had two plans, one to make our  own markets stronger while still collaborating with the EU and another, which was a contingency plan to bring us out of the EU while avoiding large damages to our economy.

This plan B wasn't apparently liked by our president, and so he's giving the mandate to a member of the former left-wing government.
Yay, another left wing unelected government that fulfills their vassal duty to the EU with no question.

Soon man, soon.

There are talks of impeachment over treason. That would be a first and also hilarious. But even if he doesn't get impeached the parliament won't vote the government (most probably at least), so that means new elections. And if this same thing happens again, I'll be in Rome most probably.

It saddens me that this president is the brother of one of our martyrs against the mafia.

I remember most of you not being very happy with my passion for Batman stuff at that time. That just shows that whatever I post there will always be people who don't share my tastes. But I stopped caring about that some time ago.

I can't wait for more news about the whole crisis of yesterday, the initial anger subsided and now I'm ready to laugh at the consequences.

In the meantime I'm enjoying how the Brexiteers, lefties, globalists etc. are groveling because our point was proven.
I'm starting to think that the "educated" "progressive" minds are suicidally self-destructive and don't understand that this action exacerbated a growing sentiment that is going to be further nurtured by their petulant celebrations.

'Tis but a setback.

if it had anything to do with the tim burton batman movies after 1, then that's understandable. the only thing that made the first one even watchable was the joker(and even then, having a short, goofy, and pudgy joker was dumb). all the other villains in all the other burton movies sucked ass(the movies themselves sucked ass, regardless), and batman's character sucked regardless until batman begins. tim burton put the "b" in batman movies. i liked them when i was a kid, but that's only because that's all the batman i had to watch besides the cartoon, growing up.

imo, the batman from the cartoons in the 90's was waaaaayyyyyy better than ALL the other batman's before "begins". despite the fact that the voice bale used pretty much sucked throughout the nolan movies, as well.

really, how nolan gave dignity, darkness, and depth to the batman world, was the only saving feature of the entire series(save the 90's cartoon, which was good in it's own right); aside from having one of the best villains of all time. and once he was out of the picture(with ledger), i don't see it ever becoming good again. in fact, it'll never be good again regardless, because nolan was the only one who did the batman world right(again, not including the 90's cartoon, which will always have a special place in my heart).

Fred this is confusing, are you sure you are talking about the movies with Nicholson, Michelle Pfeiffer, Danny de Vito and Michael Keaton?

It went surprisingly well. That combination of art, music, mood and voice acting was an excellent mix. It's like the stars aligned

@ galaad: no, i mean exactly the opposite. and i also believe that cesar romero not shaving off his mustache for the part of joker was awesome.

like i said, the joker was the only saving grace(and that was only partially, due to the flaws i described previously), of burton's batman movies.

i think a major reason i liked bale as batman, was because whenever he was in a suit, all i could see was patrick bateman pretending to be a good guy. i kept seeing him pulling out a kitchen knife and going to town on somebody.

bale as bruce wayne:

@ Elvin: Fair enough. I'm willing to admit that.

@fred: It's the opposite for me as I certainly prefer Burton over Nolan. Now, I won't say Nolan's movies sucked, they were mostly good, but Burton just had a lot more style and heart for me.
Plus, Bale's Batman's voice is hard to not make fun of. Personally I even rate Val Kilmer higher than Bale in the role.

Hah! I liked him as Batman because of his Bruce Wayne personna but I'd not seen American psycho at the time. For a change, Bruce was a joy to watch.
