It's somewhat of an irrelevant point, but FYI, Russia has more nuclear warheads than USA, even with having the (relatively) small economy that it does. Russia has less GDP than the state of Texas. Russia is a military state.

So yeah, maths.

A country pointing its weapons towards another one's borders is not irrelevant, it is on the contrary very hostile attitude in terms of diplomacy and geopolitics.

but the thing is, Russia doesn't want an open war. because they'll be bleeped in the long time.

Slavmalia doesn't count. Crimea was never slavmalian turf, and in general Slavmalia is an artificial construct of different slavic tribes that hate eachother. so this agression bullcrap, is just that, bullcrap pushed by the late tumorhead songbird McCain.

Russia is more on a defensive position. It doesn't want any of the two big countries bordering its western (and most relevant) part to join NATO. Ukraine is a buffer zone between East and West. Thus, the only way for Ukraine to get to the west (joining NATO, EU and stuff) would be to cut an eastern part of itself that would serve as a new buffer zone that would seperate it from Russia. Same thing would happen to Belarus if they suddenly turned democratic.

I will be repeating myself, because obviously people don't read correctly: Food shortage in SU and Zimbabwe were due to political choices, fighting an ideological war with the US (space race, nukes, welfare to Eastern Europe) and a real one everywhere in the world, without having Marshall plan aids, without having made money out of WW1 & 2 like the USA did, can show quite costly, and sending thousands of soldiers to Dem. Rep. of Congo to help the local dictator in his civil war is, unless you are a very wealthy country, usually not a good idea (because I don't know if people realise it, but in real life, as opposed to video games, armies need to be fed correctly for them to fight effectively.)

And it has nothing to do with playing the victim, you make choices and you take your responsibilites, that's it. When many Arab dictators were thrown out everybody agreed it was their own fault, and not the foreign hand plotting against them. Sure, the foreign hand can give a little push for the final blow, but heh, treat your people well and they won't revolt against you. For instance, I don't blame Kurds for their fight for independance, I recall a time when Al Assad would take their lands to give them to Arab farmers, had he been fair between all of his citizens, all this mess wouldn't have happened. But he made choices, Arabs above all, like the Umeyyades did before him, and had to face the consequences.

Corruption is not necessarily the sign of a failed state neither. Malaysia is by the western definition a corrupted country, where the Malays (ethnies of muslims who apply sharia) are advantaged by the government (which is why Singapore left it the Malaysian federation). Yet their economy is thriving and their passport is around the 10th strongest in the world. They can even travel to USA without a visa IIRC.

Also, I identify as a warm Russian, I read you can do that somewhere in Noobx's new books.

@AlHazin:

Russia is big enough that it is sort of its own buffer zone, but the fact that Ukraine is moving away from Russia politically and Belarus might eventually do the same (some day) says more about Spencer's social evolution than it does about USA bullying Russia into a defensive position. Not that I'm saying USA's policies have been great since I am very critical of its military, but that doesn't make me blind to what a horribly governed country Russia is. For the most part, Russia's weakened position is its own fault and nobody else's.

Basically: in the process of social evolution, countries naturally gravitate towards more effective models that can better provide for people's wants and needs. For whatever ills and faults the EU is going through, it's clear that all of Russia's former satellites have been inching towards preferring Europe over a military oil state. And the main argument that Russia has towards Europe or USA or anybody else hasn't really changed much in literally the past 100 years: they point out all of the other side's faults without fixing any of their own. It doesn't really disprove anything. It's just a feeble attempt to make it look like everybody is just as bad off as they are, which is patently false. It's a bunch of "whataboutisms".

No. No country is ever big enough to be a sort of buffer zone. North Korea still exists because China doesn't want South Korea, which means American bases to share a border with her. North Vietnam today reunited existed for that reason as well. And this is why Cuba has been isolated as well. All countries maintain buffer zones and that is a normal behaviour.

You cannot choose to ignore many factors and only focus on one. The USA sabotage efforts are an important part of the answer of why the Soviet Union eventually failed. If you believe the opposite, then you are denying the concept of cold war itself.

PS. Could you tell the USA that Algeria doesn't need their "support" in the current protests? Because just by looking at Iraq, Somalia and Libya I can *sniff* *sniff* smell that the USA are not really up to any good outside of their borders.

Naughty naughty USA...

No red and blue were joined the game. So I haven't been visited questions as the same thing, I need a negative morale itself. So scenarios it bring a negative morale. I mean spirit of oppression. Fun confused necropolis.

Now my main skill is air and pathfinding. Second main skill is earth. I created skills. When I want separate water and fire. Navigation, school, etc is okay. I lack eagle eye, because nimbus, he comes the strongest hero

Elite, I created 3 towers, etc as nagas. Ok quest guard says nagas. It after against 5 fortresses. So only a few part of the 1lvl spells. But gold golems with the slow of scholar. Then player learns spirit of oppression from artificer or shipwrecks, for nagas.
