As in the subject, looking for a living soul that wants to play some heroes. Preferrably heroic.

I could barely find any players for 5.5 so I think this will be a similar case, if not even harder

Hm, I see 79 players in 5.5's discord, maybe try to have a look there.
Also sometimes Elvin revives his Duel Map, you can also bump him I guess here.
Hope you manage to kick some butts

Yeah, even more on facebook group, 290 actually, still found two guys willing to play, one played one game and didn't want any more and I was playing with the second guy for quite a while until he got bored.
I'll try looking into Elvin's thread once in a while then.

Imo, you could already bump his thread, as I know Elvin he's always up for a game, and fun to play with.

Sadly, I don't play HoMM online (at least not now). But I heard there's a community of active players somewhere (on this forum, I think). It's nothing personal.

Most people use GameRanger. It is proven and works flawlessly.
Here is a guide I threw sometime ago, just skip the mod installation and renaming of exes part and you are good to go.
