and actually fredmuffin, the way you describe dealing with this, makes you look wimpish.

oh like w/e i'm gonna die * cries in the corner *

Sorry mate, this is the way it looks to me. And again, if I wanted to be insulting, I would, and my responses would be far worse. Like Stevie squared worse.
Like I said, at least you know your diagnosis, when comparing your situation to myself. I may not have cancer, but still, worse case scanario for me can be Parkinson's, and I'm not even 30 yet, as neurological disorder crap runs in the family by the looks of it.

what I am saying, is you don't have the right to give up. so man the bleep up and give your diagnosis a proper fight.

I'm not confirming anything, because of the personal nature of this. What you all have at this point regarding the exact issue, is only speculation, and just that. I'd advise everyone to assume/guess nothing(because an incorrect guess will lead to a trend that could very well be untrue. I don't want anyone to have the wrong impression); but just to understand that it is something that could(and most likely will) kill me. Because that is a fact i can surely confirm. If anything regarding the outcome changes, i will let you know; most certainly. I've given much of myself, my time, and my efforts, to hc over my years here; and i wouldn't stop unless something physically stopped me from doing so. Unless, of course, i left for other reasons(but i would still tell everyone what was up before i left). I currently do not have the luxury of leaving for less horrible reasons, though.

@ kip: i already told you, i'm doing what i can to fight this. You won't get bravado from me, because i'm not a liar, and indeed despise even self-deceit. What you'll get from me is honesty. If this honesty bothers you so much, then i advise steering clear of this thread.

I may sound unbelievably cruel and literally hitler, but I do kinda start to believe you're pulling a Duke_Falcon on us given your penchant to start drama here. I may be wrong. I hope I am. don't prove me wrong shroomie. If you are on the road to recovery and beat whatever it is you have, I do wish you the best, and no complications further down the road, and if you're pulling a fast one... well, we all know what happened to Duke.

I've read a little about it. Disgusting stuff.

If you doubt i am being genuine, just ask verriker. He asked me for access to my Forge project work not long before this all started, and i turned him down because he couldn't help me with what i needed. He knows how tight i am with unfinished work, and yet, i gave ALL of that away at one go, and much more, when i wasn't sure how long i'd be able to get my stuff into useful hands so all my extensive work wouldn't go to waste. That alone should tell you i'm not snowing around.

That, and that after all you've seen me post here since forever, being genuine, of course. It's really a no-brainer. I'm obviously not the kind of guy who hides from the truth, but instead seeks it out; and makes attempts to reach others with it, as well. If my character thus far, and that i released unfinished graphics work(which had become my life until this bullsnow started), doesn't tell you that this is serious, nothing likely will.

Well, he starts from the premise that cancer cells usually grow quickly, multiplying at a fast rate, which takes a lot of energy. This means they need lots of glucose.
That's not true. Yes, all cells in our bodies use simple sugars as fuel, but you cannot eliminate sugar from your diet. Even carbohydrates will provide the body sugar once broken down. And in the absence of simple sugars, cells will use fats and proteins to fuel replication and division. Not to mention that your body doesn't dictate which cells get fuel and which ones don't. So you would be starving other portions of your body as well.

Also, trying to cut out glucose or in this case trying to "starve" the cancer would hinder your body. Depending on the severity of which you are cutting off, weight loss would occur and your immune system would weaken, arguably allowing the cancer to spread faster.

I only reported what he says in his videos, I am clueless on how cancer acts. Fortunately.

But also, form my experience with doctors on non surgical issues, they look clueless most of time too.

What he does, doesnt sound like it would work, but sugar is indeed bad and especially bad if you have cancer. Actually, that’s what they use in PET scans when they check out if the cancer spread. They give you sugar before the scan and cancer cells just rush into it like magnets.

Anyways! Yes, cancer cells love glucose.  The actual reason is still unknown though. Excopte for your brain your body can do fine without glucose. It just relies on aerobic metabolism completely in that case.  Your brain on the other hand though needs gulocuocsoe exclusively. It can get a small amount of it from the fat molecules that you eat (your body takes two glycerol backbones and makes a glucose out of i ti! hooray!).  That's why people try to starve a cancer of sugar molecules.

The field is still open to research though as to why concer cells love glucose som uchm.
okay I'm going to stop typing inow.

I felt peace on the 4th of july, when i was with my family. Not before or after; i've been bouncing between depression and full-blown hatred.

I regret not taking more chances. Wasted time, looking back, is a mothersnower. I also regret being kind to those found to be unworthy later on.

Judgement? Yes and no. Afterlife? Haven't given it much thought. My concern is for my life, not my death. Leaving loved ones is what bothers me. I don't want to leave them to fend for themselves. Not in this world; not with the future that is approaching.

@Fred Since this thread has been going on for almost 4 months and no one besides you really knows what is going on, I wonder if you would be so kind as to actually tell us what the problem is???
Most people are in this thread to support you, but it is kinda hard when we don't know what we are talking about.
I won't force you to tell us, but it would be nice and maybe it would get a load of your shoulders to really open up as well?

I know life is tough, I know about depression and have thought about suicide countless times. But I always try to stay positive and kind and so far I'm still here...
