Is my files gone?

Edit: Everything is more complicated now. Let me tell you what happens.

1-) Download this file, backup your equi_text if you have, and replace it with this file https://we.tl/t-PyHtq7oXXq
2-) Start the game, you will see this file affects the game (check the town hall cost for example, it is 2000 gold 10 wood 10 ore)
3-) Then try to extract files within and you will see town hall cost is 2500 gold, 10 wood, 10 ore, 5 gem, 5 crystal

Why i cannot export my files back?

Hello. I am the person who makes change on Heroes 4 with ResEdit and TextEdit (using resedit for the extract and repack)

Today i have realized when i try to extract and txt file from my folder, it appears only spells with 3kb with all files (buildings, artifacts etc etc) and when i opened it with m4, i see all of their sizes 0kb but still my equi_text file affects the game....

Where they gone???

Is someone can extract the .table files with Resedit for me? I am trying to understand why i get only the files with 3kb. If you think "mod is corrupt" but still my changes works with the game (creatures.table, buildings.table etc etc)

No

But the good old H4 Unpacker saved the day. I don't know what is the problem with the file though.

Oh wait. These files are the original ones. Not my changes. What is happening to this equi_text file They are original files

If  you don't believe me, you can try it  by yourself. When you replace equi_text file with the file i put here, it affects your game (example, city hall cost is 2000 gold - 10 wood - 10 ore)
But if you can see the extracted files, we have the original values

o_O

Anyways, this is in your file... So it seems you either uploaded a wrong file or you could not really change the equi_text.h4r with Resedit... Or I really don't know what's going on...

No i am sure. Ok now backup your equi_text and put my equi_text, start the game and check the cost of Town Hall and City Hall.
No more gem and crystal requires. Then extract the table.buildings and open it with editor. And you will see 5 crystal and gem in there.

It is black magic i think. I AM DOOMED!

Well you are officially doomed. The Resource Editor also can 'extract' the files from your equi_text but the result is just the original tables again. I can't imagine why???

What should we do. Who knows this thing?

But are we agreed with this right?

"equi_text affects the game and changes values but when we extracted files, we have the original heroes 4 values"

Yes lol I tested it and you were right about that. This is what puzzles me, how the snow does it switch back to the original values on extract?

I have another extra problem. When i open the file, it looks like this.

https://www.imagevisit.com/image/p9tJG

All files are the same size and i think all of them same. Because when i try to open it, it gives me this file...

Edit: Here comes the new issue. I am extracting original values of equilibris, during the game crusader have 65 hit points but extracted file gives me the original values......

Who know how the handle this?
