Dungeon seige is a great hybrid between a AD&D game like Balder's Gate and a wade through the corpses game like diablo. I still love Diablo but will also play the next seige instalment. I think you can like both these games and a game like heroes, still they are not first person shooting type games which I don't enjoy playing.

Well...
I like Diablo2, but Baldurs Gate 2, now this is a game. First person shooters, can be good sometimes. I just downloaded Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast demo. All I can say: This game is perfect, I enjoy it a lot, but I cannot find the game in my country, it is worth trying it out...

Ive played both game DIABLO 2 AND HOMM 2,3, and expansions and all i can say heroes is more of a strategy game wheras diablo tells you where to go and what to do. heroes needs more thinking and more battle plans (more everthing).
and i like turne based games better anyway

I really love Diablo2, even thoough I'm currently having a break....I played single and on bnet....I had one kick ass amazon called RainBow (of course).....

Barbarians suck as$ they are so pathatic and stupid! I never tried them! Bah! That's truly the ones the REAL boys would pick... So I would never pick that one...

true...very true
i have played diablo 2. i dont play it anymore tho, since it has lost its fun. you play it through with normal, with nightmare. and then it looses its fun.  thats sad.

i've played:
dungeon siege (very cool)
diablo 1+2+lod (even after all that time it stays addictive)Heroes 2+3+4 (great serie)
Baldur's Gate everything (absolute the best)
Icewind dale and everything (also very good)
And a whole lot more

yeah right...i have a friend who did 1800 damage with his double swing. beat that! also its impossible to run after a barbarian if he has pracced speed. if you get it max then you have 200% faster run/walk. imagine if you have fastest walk bonus boots too

Well I hate thinking with both your balls or hands... I ratter use my brains, or better said dark magic and evil traps... Summoning minions to do your job is cool aswel...
Barbarians are brainless worms that only have stupid abilities that all look A like........
And when they see a blizzard fall(Of my sorceres) they will die very soon! Barbarian is by FAR the worst! I love all others! Hmm paladin and Amazone are lower then the others but still cool!

hahah 1800 u call it damamge my pally had 2800-4200 with some super lance (no cheat it was on close bnet)

Hey! Did anybody tried the cool MODS for Diablo 2?
Or is it to difficult for you guys to install?
You have this mod with enemies from Baldur's gate in Diablo 2.
Then you have in the claw viper temple this boss that looks like a naga.
and in the ice caves there is this Icy Golem. And there is also a Lord of the Rings map! I have this link.. but it's illigal to post it on HC... Soo.....

still; BG is a lot better than LOD, got a story, LOD not..
And it stays cool to play (ok diablo to)
But BG just rules
